What are my chances w/ CRT???

My family and I were not planning to go to Disney until December 2015 but after finding a really great deal and some convincing DH, we decided to bump up the trip last minute! We are 32 days out BUT I have been unable to find a reservation for CRT. I would REALLY love to surprise our DD with dinner there after her BBB reservation at 3:15pm December 6th. She broke her leg in September and has been in a cast for 7 weeks. She had to drop all extracurricular activities etc. so this trip is also a surprise for her. Long story short, what are our chances in snagging a CRT dinner reservation this late in the game?

Twice we have walked-up and got LUNCH ressies for the same day. We were a party of 2 though. We had a advance ressie for our only dinner there so I'm not sure how often that happens.
Go first thing and ask at the podium. They told us to come back around a certain time and we got in.
Also, people will probably cancel a day or two before so I would search A LOT then.

It's possible to get that ressie if you are very persistent at checking the website. I'm 9 days out from our trip and I am finding that a good amount of hard ADR's have been opening up. It seems that people really start finalizing their plans a good two weeks out. I somehow snagged a BOG dinner yesterday.

I actually got a CRT lunch last week, but ended up cancelling it bc it interfered with too many of our plans, so cancellations DO happen! Just gotta keep checking that website multiple times a day

Keep checking online multiple times a day for a cancellation. CRT is a fully pre-paid meal so when plans change people will cancel because they want their money back. You can also subscribe to the December cancellation thread:

I snagged a 9:35pm reservation for CRT!!!

I've read that you can see wishes fireworks from inside? Is this true?

Thank you so much for all of your input! I pretty much stalked the page all day. I was able to snag a Akershus dinner reservation but I feel like we need to experience CRT once at least. We've never been.

It's a limited view of the fireworks and not the best, but if you've seen Wishes from Main Street/hub, then it's fun to see them from inside CRT because it's a different perspective through the stained glass windows. However, you'll miss many of the fireworks and everything projected onto the front of the castle.

Keep stalking if you want an earlier time. We booked one just to have it last time, then a better one popped up at the 2 week mark.
