My wife is curious as to where you are seeing it will be refurbed? She said it's not listed online anywhere. Or is this just a usual refurb that happens every year?

I can confirm, yes, Splash is better at WDW. One of the few rides that is. I prefer sitting next to someone and not having knees knocking in to me. Not to mention, the ride is longer, the story is more fleshed out. That's one ride we're looking forward to on our upcoming trip.

Interesting. I've only really recently started paying more attention to these boards. Mainly because I'm going crazy with our trip coming up in a little over 5 weeks that I just can't get enough WDW at the moment. I imagine someone's got some insider source even if Disney hasn't posted it. If the DIS moderators are posting it as confirmed, then they probably are right. I doubt they'd post something like that without being sure.

We have been doing that with the Wishes livestream . It will be gone before we even get there to see it and it was my sons big thing that he wanted to see (he has a friend in the UK that really loves it and went on and on to him about how no trip is complete without wishes). I am trying to temper disappointment by having my expectations in check and splash was a wake up call for me. I was sooooo bummed when I found out I would miss it that I thought to myself it was better the find out now what I else I might have to miss from my must do list and a lot of my must do's are dining related.
