What are MNSSHP sold out parties like?

We are considering visiting the days surrounding Halloween and want to try MNSSHP. Our options are 10/29, 10/31 and 11/1... would you imagine they would all sell out? Is there a night that would be best? What is a sell out night like? We will be focusing mostly on the rides and trick-or-treating, not characters- is it "worth it" on sold out nights? Thanks!

I would bet they will all sell out. I've been to several sold out parties, and rides were still basically walk on, but the tot lines will be long. If you can, save them for the end of the night. The 29th will be the slowest out of all of them, if I were to hazard a guess.

It's still great, do it, in particular if character meet and greets aren't a big thing to you, it's fine.

All the parties are substantially the same, IMHO. There really isn't that big of a difference between a sold out and non-sold out party when looking at the rides. Other than 7DMT, they will all practically be walk-ons.

Why would you go on Halloween when you have other days? Halloween will be jam packed pick another day to enjoy

I'm guessing all 3 of those parties will sell out, so really which night you pick won't make a difference. Go with the night that fits your schedule best.

Don't let the idea of a sold out party deter you though! The best piece of advice is to go with a plan! Rides will see low wait times. Trick or treat lines may seem long, but they will move fast. Try to save your trick or treating for later in the night when the lines get shorter! You didn't mention it it, but don't miss the fireworks and parade- they are awesome!

I went on halloween last year and it was great, so many costumes to look at! I didnt find it too busy even though it was sold out.

I agree that all three will probably sell out, and there really isn't much difference between the three days.

As others have said, attraction lines tend to be short during the party with a couple of exceptions like Peter Pan and 7DMT. Lines for characters are long, lines for trick or treating start long and diminish as the night goes on.

If you're not worried about character meets, you can do very well focusing on rides for the first couple of hours, watching the fireworks and the 2nd parade, then trick-or-treating the last hour.

The only party we've ever attended was sold out and we had a blast, but we weren't there to stand in line for characters and hit a few candy stations near the end. We walked on rides all evening (BTMRR 3x in a row with 5 minute wait) and saw the parade and fireworks.

My oldest went with our youngest this past Halloween. Now granted they wanted to ride rides, they said it was great. They didn't wait long for the rides at all.

The only difference is that tickets on Halloween night will be a little more expensive than on the other nights. And you can squeeze in lots of rides, wait times are short. Even 7DMTwill be a shorter wait than usual (maybe 30 minutes or less). I would recommend seeing the parade; it's on twice per night, unique to the party, and highly entertaining.
