what are good restraunts

That's a wide open question! ;) But a fair one.

What are some kinds of food you like? What parks do you plan to visit? DDP or not? Budget? Kids or no kids?

i'd say any of the buffets would be a great choice so everyone can find something they like.you can look at menus.just click on dining at top of this page....
personally,i love
1900 park fare,crystal palace,and boma

Depends on your taste.. now there are restaurants that are harder to get ADR's because of the popularity, but you may not like them.

I dont like the buffets myself, but loads do..

you can check menus and reviews from allearsnet, see what appeals to you..

I normally do not like buffets, but the ones at wdw are fantastic!! I think Tusker House at AK and Crystal Palace at MK really have something for everyone.

I would say do not go to the Boma buffet if you are picky. I like trying new things, and went there because of all the great reviews...however, I really did not enjoy it (although it could be due to the fact that it was CROWDED)

I agree on Boma. We ate there in December and it was our least favorite of our group (4 adults in their early 30s and kids age 7 and 10). It was fun to try new things but the place was crowded and we had much better experiences at other restaurants - It clearly wasn't bad - just the others places we LOVED. Depending on what you like to eat (and do look at the menus) our favorites as a group (where everyone was very pleased) were Mama Melrose's (our group had everything from steak, to pasta, to seafood) and Tepan Edo (my 10 year old said it was the best steak he had ever had). If you are there at least a week, I would mix some non-buffets with buffets. We did and it was a nice mix.

We just got back from a trip with our boys and my parents. My father is quite picky about food. With that said we ate at the following TS for dinner:

Chef Mickey - Great selection and variety for everyone.
Prime Time Cafe - Great home cooked comfort food
Boma - Shocked, but this was the family favorite of everything. Sure there are some dishes that are out there, but it was amazing food.
The Wave - Nice restaurant off the beaten path. Not a lot of options on the menu, but we still enjoyed it.
Coral Reef - Good variety of options and great steak.
The Crystal Palace - Very crowded, hard to move by tables - food was sub-Disney quality in our view. Most disappointed with meal here (great breakfast in the past though)
Le Cellier - Loved this on our honeymoon and still has fabulous food. Everyone left here happy thanks to the great meal and service.

Good luck picking your restaurants.
