What are good DDE holder stops for alcohol?

To clarify, can you order just alcohol (fingers crossed), no food at the participating locations-- and still get the DDE discount?

Also, if you have DDE but book a dining plan (buy a one day base ticket just for the dining plan, say) and have DDE, can you use it on your alcohol and/or non-covered food items at your DDP table service meal?

Yes, you can We are AP holders and bought a package because we got free dining on the bounceback program from last December. And we used the DDE card at every TS restaurant that was on the list to pay for drinks and the dining plan to pay for the meal. There was never a problem, although you kind of need to tell them what you are doing when you hand them the cards (room key for dining plan, DDE card for the drink discount) so they understand completely what you mean.

We had one waiter who didn't understand we were on the dining plan and thought we wanted to use the DDE for a discount on the whole meal and charge the meal to our room, so just tell them you are paying the liquor bill separately and using the DDE card for the discount and dining plan for the meal so there is no misunderstanding
