Well - the price of gas here today is 99 cents CDN/litre which equals approx $4.36 US/Imperial gallon (I know there's a difference between US and imperial gallons but I can't remember what it is)....but that's a bargain compared to this time last year when we were paying approx $6.51 US/gallon.
Our province regulates the price of gas and changes the price on Wednesdays - and word has it that it is going down 4 to 5 cents a litre tonight at midnight - so that could equal a 23cent US drop.... betcha can't guess who only put in $10.00 worth tonight hoping the radio newscast was right
I guess we spend so much more filling our cars that's probably why we don't get to go to WDW very often...(or maybe the kid's college education might of been a "minor" player in that too)....
So now that our kids have both reached their 20's, we are going to see WDW in a totally different perspective this time - as a sort-of-senior (that's when you legally aren't one yet, but a store clerk looks at you and gives you the discount without asking....my BIL goes ballistic when that happens to him

, but we never say a word...
So I guess from looking at this post, you can figure out why we're flying from BGR for $262 CDN return which included the
travel agent's booking fee (actual flight cost was $202 CDN)...(a flight from my hometown was quoted as $785 CDN return, so I guess the price of jet fuel is a lot more here too but it is just a 3 hr drive to Bangor...)
So looking forward to this trip - first time on site.....
