This summer we will be staying 18 days, splitting our time between Beach Club concierge (3 nights), Caribbean Beach (11 nights), and AKL Concierge (3 nights). It got me thinking about all the resorts have to offer.

So, at ANY resort at DisneyWorld, what are your favorite things to do at the resorts?????

Thanks!:bounce:

1-At the FW Campground we like to watch the movies at the Campfire Sing-a long.

2- At the WL we enjoy renting surrey bikes to use on the path to FW for a quick petting zoo visit.

3-At the Poly we like to catch the Water Pageant and fireworks from a hammock on the beach.

4-Coronado Springs is also great for a surrey bike ride or a late night stroll.

5-From any of the Epcot deluxe resorts we like to play mini-golf and dine al fresco along the boardwalk.

CBR-lie in the hammocks by the lagoon, stroll through the "island" playground, noticing the wild birds, etc.. with my girls, and the surrey bikes.

We enjoy renting water sprites/mice at the Contemporary. We have also considered going to the Chip & Dale campfire sing-along at Fort Wilderness (although we haven't actually made it over for that one yet). Someone mentioned hammocks at the Polynesian; we also enjoyed the hammocks at the Caribbean Beach Resort as well.

And of course there is always eating. We really enjoy trying restaurants at different resorts: breakfast at the Grand Floridian, lunch at the Wilderness Lodge, a quick snack in the Contemporary.....

AKL - lobby art tour at 3:30 every day.
-find the hidden mickeys and get a certificate and perhaps a
little reward

All Star Music - we love the 3 Cabelleros pool
All Star Movies - Andy's room playground
All Star Sports - the football playground
Carribbean Beach - walking along the trail and island and afternoon naps in the hammocks, watching the Epcot fireworks
Coronado Springs - early morning walks around the lake
Port Orleans Riverside - fishing at the fishn' hole, surrey bike riding, and the boat ride to Downtown Disney - also, Boatrights is a GREAT restaurant
Port Orleans French Quarter - sitting by the river and the boat ride to Downtown
The Swan - walking to Epcot, the grotto pool
The Contemporary - walking home from Magic Kingdom, relaxing on the back steps of the resort
The Polynesian - watching the MK fireworks from the beach

Don't forget Storm Along Bay at the Beach Club. At Caribbean Beach, just walking around the lake is very peaceful. And all the pools there. Walking around AKL is a great thing to do as well (did that last trip while staying at Contemporary). Or, renting a bike for a trip around any of the moderates. Or, resort hopping, to see what they have.

Whenever I stay at a monrail resort, I like to take a spin or two on the monorail, going the whole route. The arcade at the Contemporary is really fun for the kids. Also, we try never to miss the water pageant. At the Yacht Club, we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony, having a drink, and people-watching. We also loved strolling the boardwalk, and feeding the ducks out from the dock leading to the boat to MGM. At the Poly, we sat on the beach and watched the fireworks and the water pageant. The kids loved playing on the beach in the morning.

We love staying at the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge. Both lobby's (in main building and in the villas) are so beautiful. We always enjoy swimming in the main pool while there and also renting watermice. I just love it there. The CM's who work in that resort are the best. They are just the nicest people.

Poly, EWP, Torch Lighting Ceremony, Frozen drink at Tambu Lounge while watching the castle change colors.

We enjoyed the tours at the AKL and WL when we stayed there. At AKL there is a storyteller at the fire pit in the evening. Loved talking to the guides along the obervation areas about the animals and their country.
Also enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs and watching the animals.

Lots of resorts have little marinas. Rent a Water Mouse! Those are so much fun!

We like the surrey bikes and walking along the BW. Yummy italian ices! EWP and fireworks at the Poly. Riding in the monorail and trying to get a seat up front! :D Checking out the gift shops at different resorts and eating in various restaurants around the 'world'.

...the slide at CSR pool (it's the BEST!!) and doing a little bit of fishing at the fishin' hole at DxL (ok, POR!). Also, ANY chance my DS's get to rent the "Mickey boats" (Water Mice) they are in heaven....oh, the Dig Site at CSR is cool, too!!
