What AP room rate did everyone get for the Moderates in early March? What about the Deluxes? Just curious if everyone was offered the same.

We are going for our Honeymoon! March 24-April 1
Poly Lagoon/Castle View - originally $600ish, we paid $407/night :cool1:

We're going March 4 - 12. I got Port Orlean French Quarter for $110 and AKL for $166.

Hmmm...I'm paying $119/night at CBR & CSR a split stay from March 2 thru the 9th. I booked a regular room without any special requests. I wonder what's up with that?! :confused3 Geez, I'm glad I asked this question. I'll be calling them later to make sure they quoted me the right rate.
Thanks and wish me luck!

What season is March? Is it peak or regular? I'm trying to get an idea what my June rates might be.

WL standard in March, for 166 + tax per night (185/night). 4 nights 740.40

POP 3/29-4/07 $80 per night (exactly what was listed on passholder's webpage).

Here's what I got for 5 nights from 3/31-4/5 using AP code EZK:

POP - $80.00/night Standard Room / Total with tax = $446.00
CSR - $134.00/night Standard King Room / Total with tax = $747.00
AKL - $247.00/night Standard Savannah View / Total with tax = $1377.00

I know that the Standard King Room at CSR is the only thing they have available for my dates. Not sure if they have anything else availabe at AKL

I got a rate of $282/night before taxes for the Beach Club, March 23rd - 28th. With taxes and an extra adult charge it comes to 342.30/night. :)

I too am trying to figure out what discounts might be like for August and October as we are planning 2 more trips. I LOVE having an AP hehe :hyper:

Thanks. I thought March was peak, but I was at school and didn't have time to check it. So, my June rate "should" be just a tad bit better than these. I am SO glad we are back to the old way of doing AP rates! :worship:

Anyone have a comparison of all the resorts, rack vs AP for Mar?

My AP expires then and I'm debating on whether to renew.

Sorry, *edited* to say I made an error. The $110 price pn quoted below was before tax. The price with tax for POFQ is 122.65 per night, which is what I'm seeing on the site now also.*

March POFQ $110 pn (no tax)

I can't get that rate now. They raised it! (correction: they didn't raise it - see note above)

What do you mean they raised it? This new AP thing is confusing me. I thought once they set the AP rate that was it.
Does anyone know where I could find a list of the AP rates for early March listed online? All I keep finding is what code to use, and I thought you just get a "best rate" now???!!! No codes needed.... :headache:

Hi, all I know is that when I checked the rates for my resort the other day on someone elses computer, POFQ is now higher than the $110 per night I was originally quoted. *sorry, edited to add that I forgot to include tax to the $110, so the actual rate is 122.65)*. I am unable to log in from my computer since Disney's AP site is highly user unfriendly and won't let me in (which ticks me off to no end, but that is another story).

Sorry, I wish I could be more help. Maybe a more knowledgible person (who CAN log into the AP site) can shed some light on this.

Does anyone know the price difference between an AP rate and a Florida Resident rate?
When I initially made my reservation back in Nov. the CM was confusing on the AP rates and told me I can add them later when the codes come out never telling me about the 60 day policy. When I changed my ressies in early Jan. they could not get me in under the AP since it was 2 days past the 60 day new policy thing. They worked with me since I had an emergency situation and I only missed it by 2 days. So, I just called to confirm that they had my new ressies right and found out they had me listed as a Florida Resident discount. The CM told me they have notes on my reservation that when I check in they'll know I'm not actually a Fl.Res. but this was the only way to get me in under a discount rate.
So now I'm figuring that the FL Res. discount isn't quite as good as the AP and that's why I'm paying $10 more per night. All the CM told me was those 2 discounts are "about" the same. Didn't give me a price comparison.
Well at least now I know why my rates are a little different. :upsidedow

Based on my calculations, the AP rate with the EZK code offers about a 40% room only discount off the MYW package room rate during PEAK season.

Does that sound right? Can anyone else confirm this as my math could be off.

I think it depends on the category. Delux 133/299 = almost 45 percent but that is cheapest room at wl, grandfloridian cheapest room 133/475 = 28% and these are the cheapest rooms. Moderate 66/175 = 38% Value 35/115 = 30%. we could say somewhere from 25 -45% for standard rooms and less if you upgrade lol.

I booked POFQ for March 25 through April 1 for $122/night. It's far from the best rate I've ever gotten (We didn't pay much more than this for AKL last spring.), but it's not bad.
