Jimmy Neutron will be open by then. And ofcourse if all goes well with Shrek, it may very well be open too. Then if you come back in spring of 2004 you might just have a surprise waiting for you...:jester:

Spring of 2004 will be Kong's replacement, I presume? :)

Tiggerguy, I'm going July 4th week, too, and was wondering how you're doing with finding decent airfare, if you're flying. Thanks!

Well I can't exactly say yes...because that wouldn't be legal...but the answer Barry, is definitely not a no. Is that good enough for now? Maybe I can let you all know something more later. :jester:

I'm waiting to hear something about Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings. I know that anything involving these names is a long way off but I'm already waiting!

Although I haven't seen either of these films I think there is enough popularity for them to boost the attendance at either park. If it were to happen they would most likely go in Lost Continent.

Harry Potter could go into that unused Xena/Hercules soundstage.

Just to let people know, (if they don't already) both of those movie properties were bought by Universal earlier last year for theme park reproduction so you won't be seeing any of those attractions at Disney...too bad, so sad (lol) :jester:

Thats what everybody *says* but i cant find any proof of that anywhere.

Anyone?

When I got my season pass last year, they we're playing the HP movie on the tvs in the room where you get your pass at IOA.
A small clue and doesn't mean anything, but I don't think they'd be playing that movie in the season pass room if they didn't own the rights or whatever you wanna call it.

Something other then MIB for a change, every time I ever go they always show MIB.

Shrek 4D is replacing The Alfred Hitchcock attraction.

From everything we have heard the attraction is going to be simliar to Terminator 2: 3D/It's Tough to be A Bug at Animal Kingdom.

What is this attraction for Shrek? Where will it be? Anybody?

The attraction will be housed in a castle-like building, and guests will be given a pair of "OgreVision" glasses to wear as the screen and the theater come alive with sensory elements.

The new theme park attraction features a tale that begins as Shrek, Princess Fiona and Donkey set off for a honeymoon but are faced with trouble in the form of the ghost of Lord Farquaad, voiced by John Lithgow in the films and in the new attraction. The trio is transported into an adventure featuring such fast-paced sequences as an aerial dogfight between fire-breathing dragons and a steep plunge down a 300-foot waterfall.

I thought it was only USH's Shrek attaction that was taking place in a castle since they have one readily available?

I think they can build the inside of Hitchcock to look like a castle.

It's all just 4 walls and a roof, so they can make the building look pretty much like anything. Remember, Twister used to house a Ghostbusters show.

Oh, okay. I thought you meant that the outside building was also being redone to look like a castle. To me that would seem out of place with the other soundstages.
