What American snack food MUST I try?

I'm also willing to be part of the DisBoards Airlift for our friends across the pond!

Those are some great ideas Yvet, thank you! I love BBQ crisps too, yum! We have lunchables in the UK, and the smell of the cheese turns my stomach, although may be a good choice for my other half!

Snack packs look good too! I hadn't thought of that! Ziplock bags are also a must buy! Adding them all to my list!

Sparking water is gross! :crazy2: I will look out for the stuff in the magic kingdom, sounds yummy! I love the frozen stuff, that is gorgeous!

We have Pringles! Once you pop, you can't stop!

Cake versions of oreos?!?! Sounds fantastic! I gotta pick me up some of those!

Wow, this shopping list is getting pretty long!

I have just finished off a packet of Walkers roast chicken crisps, and they were delicious! :goodvibes

Yes the oreo cakesters are great. If you like oreo cookies than they are a must try.

To eat all this food you are going to need months not weeks here. :lmao: Not to mention lots of extra money. :) Good thing you are coming back over in December.

Love getting Mountain Dew, although oddly I found some in Doncaster Airport last week!

They've started selling Mountain Dew here, but as an energy drink, and can only be found in a few places, such as Petrol Stations and Airports (2 places I don't go!) I found a shop near me that imports it, and thus my Mountain Dew addiction is sustainable :) They also sell stuff which tastes just like Grape Soda YUM!!!

I am also willing to send snacks to the UK for someone as long as they send me back some Polo mints!

I could help with that. In return for NERDS!

I never thought I'd hear someone requesting polo mints :)

well, let's start this exchange!!! Maybe we could start a snack exchange thread??

You know the rule on the Dis! If you suggest it, you end up organising it! :rotfl:

I guess we can start it together because I did offer right away. I've already started taunting her with thoughts of Dr. Pepper on her facebook page!

Original Cinnabon Bars (over in the Breakfast Bar Aisle)

Google them... they are heaven!

Have you tried the white cheddar cheese its??? They are even better than the normal ones.

I don't recall seeing Dr. or Diet Dr. Pepper when I was in Ireland---but, my trip was in '01.

Pretzel M&Ms and Coconut M&Ms are a couple of my latest naughty diet cheats.

OMG Coconut M&Ms are the best!!!!!!!!!!:worship::worship:

My favorite snacks...plain Lay's potato chips and a plain milk chocolate Hershey bar...mmmm, yummy. Oh and don't forget a freezing cold can of Coke!

I had no idea that there were coconut M&M's. I will have to look next time I'm at Walmart.

I didn't list anything from M&M Mars because I figured they had these over there but if you do not I agree the pb ones are the best. I know when I was in Europe in 1999 Mars candies were everywhere. Is this still the case?

Shellynn24: As unbelievable as it may seem to us Kim does not like Hershey's Chocolate. :confused3 My favorites are Kit-Kat bars and Reeses Pieces.

We do have Mars products, but again they limit our range. We have M&M's but only peanut, chocolate and for a while they had crispy but I think that even they are gone now!

Obviously Brits don't like choice!

you can find snickers, milky way and plain and peanut m&ms, but i've never seen peanut butter M&Ms outside of the US....maybe they exist, but i haven't seen them....good thing too - if they're not available i can't pig out on them :goodvibes

my mom just brought me a gigantic jar of chocolate covered raisins from costco....i had to give them away or else i would have eaten the whole jar in one sitting....ok...so maybe not in one sitting, but pretty close to that...

Wow you sure are limited on choice. I told my dh we can never move to England. I would miss our food too much. :lmao: Crispy still exist over here but they are harder to find than the others. They use to sell a candy bar called the m-azing bar but Mars stopped making it. They came in crispy and peanut butter. The peanut butter was the best candy bar ever. Well between those and the peanut butter snickers that they also stopped making. It was the perfect blend of a chocolate bar with m&m candies inside.

How did your shopping go Kim? Hope you didn't spend too much. Try not to gain too much weight before going back home. :rotfl2:

Enjoy your trip and safe travels.
