There is a price difference. This screenshot shows pricing before I log in with my DVC credentials:
Here's the after:
In essence, the Platinum Plus and Platinum each drop $100 for DVC members. The Gold pass also appears for DVC members. The Gold pass has blackouts during Christmas and spring break.
Most of the discussion in this thread is dealing with the process of turning the AP vouchers into a "real" AP. I've never done the renewal, as we go twice within a 12 month window, then take a year off. I know the renewal kicks in when the original pass expires. I don't know whether you need to pick up new physical ticket media.

And I appreciate the time you took to do this . But it's also what WE do - Log in as DVC Members, renew APs, with the Disney Website RECOGNIZING us as DVC Members.
No, the REAL question was "is there a price difference between a DVC member LOGGING IN to to the Disney Website. vs CALLING DVC DIRECTLY?".
I know I ended up calling because I was trying to buy my first gold pass but the website wouldn't let me buy any tickets. (Was also trying to buy some MVMCP tickets) Anytime I tried to buy would take me to a page saying my cart was empty. This went on for about a week before I finally just called. (Which took forever)

Try deleting your cookies. Google Chrome never recognizes my DVC membership, but Safari does. I'm too lazy to clear my Chrome cookies, so I just switch to Safari. My guess is the issue is with the way Disney handles cookies on its end, not with Chrome.
