I would add an over-the-door shoe hangar. You can hang it over the bathroom door and put everyone's toiletries in it rather than have them clutter up the vanity of the sink. Each pocket can hold a bottle, tube or other necessity, with the kids' toothpaste, toothbrushes, etc. on the lower pockets. We first used one on a Disney cruise several years ago and now we don't travel on any long vacation without it. I just leave it packed in the bottom of one of our suitcases when we store them away.

Is your photo ID government issued from where ever you live? If not, then be sure to include a government issued photo id (drivers license, passport, etc) for each adult traveling. Besides needing it to board the plane, if you are above drinking age, then you will need to show it (one for each person) if you buy an "adult" beverage.

The only other thing that I can think of is that you mention bringing glasses. If these are prescription glasses, then you may want to bring another pair (your old ones) as a backup in case they break. I wear glasses and would hate to be on a vacation if my glasses break. Everything would be a blurr! Also, again if you are wearing prescription glasses, something to hold your glasses on during the rides are a must. I bring a Croakie with me which I put on my glasses and wear all day when I am at the park.

Have a great trip!

i always bring cortisone cream and caladryl lotion for inevitable bug bites.

and a net bag for taking stuff to the pool.

I also second the over the door shoe holder. This past trip, I brought one ($6 US in Walmart, but then I saw them at the dollar store!). We stayed at the Dolphin, and there was little counter space in our room (we were in a corner room, so lost one counter top in exchange for a door to a second balcony). Lucky I brought it - put glasses, toiletries, spray bottles, glow sticks, everything in it and you could see it all. Now I'll never travel there without one! Plus since it's cheap, you can do what I did and just leave it there when you check out - I'll get dollar store ones next time.

On the other hand, a lot of stuff you can forgo and just see what you'll need. We went in August with ponchos (the disposable kind for 80 cents each) and never used them. Definitely do the over the door holder thing!

Don't know about the toiletries - seems you have too much. I don't know what foot lotion is. Just remember to bring at least one bar of bath/shower soap that you're used to - I like Dial (antibacterial) since you sweat a lot, and we (me and 2 kids) used the whole bar during the week there, so next time I'll bring 2 bars. It's better than the non-antibacterial soap in the resorts.

Don't worry also - you can come home with so much more than you leave with! Especially if you have kids like mine :rotfl:

PM me if you want more advice - just returned and going back in December!

Thanks. We don't have kids so no clutter worries. I may get the shoe holder if I see one at the dollar store.

As far as glasses, my older pair will be brought... but it is pretty old so not very useful. We also have new prescriptions if need be. I bought those little glasses cords to hold them on during rides.

I forgot caladryl lotion thanks. :)

I probably have a net bag around here somewhere.

The foot lotion is that peppermint stuff you rub in at the end of the day when your feet are screaming.

I will need to bring my own soap as I have reactions to anything else.

CHEAP LAUNDRY BAG to keep the dirty clothes away from the clean :thumbsup2

i just take a few tall kitchen bags for dirty laundry.

One of the greatest thing I brought was a collapsible hamper that I purchased from walmart. The other was a bottle of hand soap. Can't stand bar soap after a few uses it gets slimy.

I put my vote in for the collasable hamper too. I am bringing two of them. Fold flat for travel and help keep the dirties neatly away in a corner.

Downy Wrinkle Releaser spray!!!!! I took it w/ me on our WDW trip in July, and I think I used it everyday and for the whole family. Someone recommended to me on these boards. The last thing I want to do is iron on vacation, so this was very valuable to me!!!!

You can get it at Walmart in the trail size isle for $1.50. All you do is hang the piece of clothing on the hanger, spray the item a few times and pull on the fabric and let it dry. In like five mins I had a completely wrinkle free outfit. I use this stuff all the time now at home, it is priceless!!!!!!

Also, if you are planning on doing laundry and use fabric softner, I would pack a few sheets, cause the sheets in the resorts are very expensive!!!!!

Good luck and have fun!

I bought a collapsable hamper today for $2.00!!! I have a shoe holder thingie on the back of DS's door for lotions, etc, but I'll buy another so I don't have to take all of his stuff out!
