What am I in store for???

I am organizing a group of 7 young adults to go to Universal on August 7 (Monday) thru August 11 (Friday). I have been before and loved it, but we used the free fastpass system ALOT when we went. Since, you all seem to be the "guru's" of the universal parks, could you please give me information on the best places to dine, (including disney resort restaurants), what order to ride the rides in both parks, and any other tips and tricks that you can give me. Get there early, early, early (before the park is scheduled to open) and do the major rides before the crowds build.

However, if you are staying onsite, you can take your time since you will have express passes.
