What Am I Doing Wrong??

Ok, so I have a Fuji Finepix 6 megapixal . . .and I take it to WDW with us. Come home, upload the photos from the memory card (which I thought came out awesome) then sent them to CVS.com for printing . . .the photos are 4 x 6 and some of them really are fuzzy . . .what the heck did I do wrong?

Is it better just to take the memory card to the store and have them do it? I wanted clear, professional looking pics and I am really disappointed . . .

never had that problem but if you really examined them off the card ( sometimes i find they look good as thumbnails but not so good larger) and they looked good, i'd ask them to reprint them...maybe they messed up. i usually use snapfish for prints cause our cvs and other local places do a terrible job but thought maybe it was just that around here, maybe it's not

I was thinking that, but I was also thinking that maybe on the fine pix photo viewer I made them too small when I uploaded them to CVS? I probably should of just kept them huge and not even touch them, huh?

I was trying to make my upload time faster . . .I have dial up internet

Sounds like it would be better to take a CD or the original memory card to them.

If they look good before printing, I would guess when you uploaded them you made them too small.

I would just burn the full resolution files to a disk and take them to your local printing place.
