What Am I doing wrong? Is it VMK or ME?

Why is it so difficult to log on. Using VMK Pal, cleared cookies and temp files. Try to log in, get black screen. Wait and try some time later to get same result. Repeat process and maybe if lucky am able to log in! Also, why is it so laggy going from room to room. This happens even if room is empty or going to my own room! Is it me? or is it VMK? Has something chanrged dramatically that I don't know about? Is there a "work around" for it? Getting frustrated here.

It has been 45 minutes and I still can't log in. should have stayed logged in since the morning but AH .. That wouldn't have been a "Green" thing to do

Have you tried un-installing and re-installing shockwave?

I've been having trouble too the last week or so. I get the BSOD about 5-6 times before I can log in.

Thank you guys. Yeah BSOD is what I am getting. Shockwave and others have been uninstalled and reinstalled with no positive results on the silly screen from VMK. all other programs load fine, access the internet etc very fast.

This used to happen to me all the time. Try clearing out your temporary files, and then restarting your computer. Don't know if this will help at all, but it worked for me.

That happened to me on pal a few times, try IE or FireFox for a bit and then
go back to Pal.. worked for me.

I have been cleaning out temp files before every time I try to enter vmk. I have even uninstalled and reinstallded VMK Pal. Oh well, guess it's VMK. Thanks everyone for trying to help.

Hey Princess. Have you tried using Firefox, instead of Pal? It's just a guess, but it might help

Try holding your "CTRL" button and then log-in, holding the "CTRL" button down while you do so. I've heard this from other threads and that it works sometimes. Good Luck!

Well, now I know that my problem is partly due to shockwave and partly due to issues with my computer. Looks like I will have to reinstall the operating system after backing up all of my important docs first. I am using a back up computer to access VMK and works pretty well. Yes, I do have to click on cancel to continue to enter VMK without trying to update shockwave again.
