My kids will be 13, 10 and 7 when we go. Are they too old to participate in this?
Thanks,
Kimba

Last summer we had 13, 10, 7, and 3 (all girls) trying to finish their masks at the Kidcot stations. The 13 y.o. actually had to go back to the room to get her mask - she wanted all the countries.

I've also seen adults do it so I'd say no age is too old ;-)

ages 1 week to 105 yrs old.

Honestly, there is no age limit. My kids 7 and 4 really enjoy this but I too have seen adults (hint hint... ) doing the masks. They're really quite fun and makes a nice break from walking or getting out of the heat. Plus the kids talk to the CMs and they can learn about the countries culture, etc.

How much does Kidcot cost? Does it vary, its been a long time since I have been to the World. Now I am returning with my own children and really need to brush up on whats available for a preschooler.

Kidcot is free. Masks and markers are free. At each station, the CM will put a new dangly thing on the mask that represents the country. The CM will stamp the country's logo on the mask stick (which looks like a paint stirrer) and the kids can decorate their masks with the markers.

If you want, there are passports you can buy too at each country. The CMs will stamp each country's page and write little notations in them.

My DS enjoyed it at 9 but the next trip at 11 he was not interested. Girls might enjoy it a little older than boys however.

DD was 11 when we went in February. She liked it. I found that it got the whole family to spend more time in each country. While she waited in line or was coloring, DH and I strolled about "window shopping".

It was neat to happen upon Belle, Mulan, Princess Aurora, Tigger, Pooh, and Eeyore all just by strolling about looking for the KidCot sections. We didn't plan to find characters this trip, we just seemed to always be in the right place at the right time.

Have fun!!! We cannot wait to go back.

My 7 and 10 yr olds LOVED the masks we just HAD to finish them. My 10 yr old son was the most interested in it I think, but he's totally crazy about Epcot.
