What age for no stroller at Disney?

My 5 year old DD hasn't used a stroller since our last Disney trip when she was 3 but it's coming with us, just in case. We're driving so it's no big deal to bring it.

Rent a double stroller. It sounds like you plan to have a stroller for the younger child, right? Just rent a double and your older child will be able to hop in when they are tired. No listening to whining about how tired they are. No worrying about where they are either. Plus you will have space to put your stuff, which is almost reason enought to rent one.

You simply cannot compare walking around at a zoo to doing Disney for days on end. Disney is not usually a restful vacation, it is very active, and even fit kids will become tired. Your vacation will not be fun if you spend it listening to complaining, tired children. Do yourself a favor and rent a stroller.

We didn't bring one for my DD3.5 and she was fine, my kids pretty much stopped at 2.75/3 in general (we're from New England by the way). Every kid is different, so you have to go by your gut. We did go a little slower than normal, but my DD13 had what we believe was food poisoning and could barely walk, plus it was freezing that week, so it didn't make much of a difference.
