My son and his girlfriend want to go down to Disney. He is 20 and she is 18. They will be almost 21 and 19 when they will be going. Are they old enough to rent a room on their own?

Sure!

If the resort they are staying in has a minibar, they will not be given the key, but otherwise they will have any access that any other guest would.

Hope they have a great time :)

I would think as long as the are over 18 there should not be a problem.

They do have to be 18 or older, but may also need a credit card.(for the front desk )::yes::

WDW resorts do NOT require a credit card. If you don't have a credit card and still want to be able to make phone calls outside of the resort or charge to your room, you can leave a cash (or travelers checque) deposit at check-in in lieu of a credit card.

Thanks Anne I wasn't sure, just remembered once when I made reservations for my brother they inquired about him having a credit card for front desk.... that is all they said.

thank you, I may be going down same time with my daughters but didn't want to have to stay with them. I may be staying at a different resort.
