What adhesive do you use?

I use ATG 714 and the scotch tape that comes with it. I bought it at framingsupplies.com. Well worth the investment.

I also have the little xyron x and the xyron 500. I alwyas use 40% coupons at Ms or ACM or Js for the refills.

Just the past week I got tired of the glue boogies from the xyron so I went to Walmart and bought all of the scrapbbooking glue they had (no coupons).

I tried the scotch glue sticks $1.44 I think. I was surprised to find that they worked well and I really liked using it. I used it to glue together a bunch of jungle gyms and slides from the locker talk cart - -so the glue did get outside the lines. It did clean up well, easily and dried clear.

I tried the zig two way chisel tip - -I liked that too! I used it for some very thin things -- the swingset from locker talk cut at 2 inches -- liked that too. It dried clear and everything is stuck down.

Both of these items -- I know I would have spent a long time cleaning up glue boogies. THese were for a swap so I had 5 sets of everything.

Last I tried the scocth scrapbooker's g;ue with 2 way applicator. It made the paper curl. Maybe I used too much. I am going to try it with skittles and again with paper but use less.

Last I have the vario tab dispenser, which I used to use beofre I got the ATG. I like it. I use it when I go somewhere and don't want to take the large aATG with me. I get the re-fills at scrapbookpal.com. It seems the ACM & Ms is always out of them.

Another strong recommendation here for the ATG 714. The tape holds extremely well, and the tape gun is lightweight and easy to use. Pricing for the refill rolls is very economical.

Another ATG gun fan here...

Glue Dots (they hold anything and everything )

Zyron 2 1/2 sticker maker

Zyron 500

Pop Dots

Zig pen for Cricut stuffs

I have the following:

Scott's Quick Dry Glue (LOVE IT!!!)
Sticker Maker xyron (150 I think) *found the best way to get rid of glue boogies is to go over it w/ a q-tip, takes them right off and doesn't hurt the paper!*
Xyron 500 *found the best way to get rid of glue boogies is to go over it w/ a q-tip, takes them right off and doesn't hurt the paper!*
Glue Dots (all sizes) ~ now make my own after rlovew's tutorial on how to w/ craft glue
Zig pen w/ pen tip and chisel tip (LOVE IT)
Glue Sticks (only for paper to paper)
Photo splits
Photo corners for special things I want to be able to open
Scotch scrapbooker's glue with 2 way applicator *don't use the big tip as it puts too much glue on and does curl the paper; however the small tip works amazing and you can really limit the amount that goes on*

oh and I was a former tombo user before getting my ATG :-)

I've only ever used CM's tape runner and glue pen. I love the glue pen for Cricut stuff. I have a big Xyron but don't like the glue boogies either.

I am a recent convert to ATG, I used the hermafix ones for years. I also use glue dots, zig pens, and xyron (both the x and 510)

I highly recommend the ATG. I thought it would be too bulky, but it is one of the best scrapbooking investments I have made.
