I haven't seen any discounts or special offers for this time frame. We are planning on doing a trip mid July staying at CBR. Yes, us long time value people are jumping ship and going moderate for a change of scenery. Guess I'll have to book with my AAA discount to be sure I get something?! All of these 40% off codes and 4/3 deals...Please Disney people, come through for us July people! And for the record, I did NOT get a 40% pin code and we've been to Disney MANY times. Just venting.

I haven't gotten a code either but in a way I am kind of glad. Because of other committments, we can only vacation in late July. If the current 40%code arrived I think I would be really frustrated that I couldn't use it :)

Now if Disney wants to send me a room-only code for July I would be more than happy to accept :goodvibes

Hoping for a discount for early August too.popcorn::

isn't that in the middle of the PRIME SUMMER SEASON?
8/10 starts VALUE, bu tthe 40% starts on the 24th.

PRIME Summer Season is May 22 - August 8. The 4/3 offer is through June 27, with includes prime summer season. I've had discounts in the past that started after 4th of July. Can you blame a girl for hoping on a discount in July? I don't EXPECT it, I'll go offer or no offer. Planning a trip is a big part of the fun, and waiting on offers is part of it. When you go to Disneyworld often, these discounts make a difference, ya know?

I was hoping for an AP rate for the weekend in July prior to moving into my DVC rental on 7/19. After seeing that there were NO discounts for weekends for AP holders during the last round of discounts released, I was not willing to pay the high summer rates at a value or moderate, so booked that weekend with my DVC points in one of the cheaper DVC rooms (AKV-value). The latest release of AP rates was an eye openner of things to come and I was glad to get the advance heads up of what might happen this summer. Discounts for July (even for AP holders) has always been slim. I figured if Disney decides to use the summer vacationers to make up for the lost sales during other times of the year, I wasn't prepared to gamble on whether the discounts for weekends would happen. I wish you all luck.

I do know that in 2003 when travel was still down after the 9/11 attacks, we got the same 4/3 deal being offered now. We went the last week of July, so I'm hoping bookings stay somewhat low for summer and Disney extends the discount. We're planning to go the first week of August. I think there's a good chance of that happening because Disney extended the booking date for the current offer which tells me it didn't sell out as quickly as they'd hoped. They just want to get people to go earlier in the year before they start making offers for the prime summer times.

We would LOVE discounts in this time frame, too....what can we do, but WAIT? :) (and hope?) My recollection is that we DID take advantage of the 4/3 in 2003....but in 2009, we're only hoping to upgrade to moderate, not deluxe :sunny:

Like a previous poster stated I too think Disney will extend the 4/3 deal. I remember clearly that during the summer of 2003 that the 4/3 was extended because I tried like crazy to convince my DH and family traveling with us to stay onsite. They didn't want to. We ended up renting a house which was really nice. What I don't want to happen is Disney pulls the 5/2 deal on the summer. I don't know if you guys remember, but in 2004 Disney did the 2 nights free instead of 3. Whatever the deal, I hope they open up soon, instead of waiting until May. I've been hesitate to book, hoping that others are hesitate too, and this hesitation would cause Disney to roll out discounts. I'm going to have to book soon. By the end of February I'll book regardless.

I am also in this timeframe and wondering if there will be something. I have to think that we will get something close to the 4/3 deal. I bet they want to wait until the travel dates get closer so people don't cancel a trip during the first time frame only to rebook during the later months. I could be wrong but I am trying to think from their point of view.
