what about cabs

Just wondering if anyone has taken cabs from resort to resort and if they'd recommend that?
We don't really want to rent a car. We're staying at CB but have several meals booked at other WDW resort hotels and I was thinking a taxi might be more convenient than hopping from bus to bus. Specifically, I was worried about getting to AKL, but also have meals at GF and Contemporary.
Would it be pricey to cab it?
Any suggestions?

I also want to take an occasional cab. MK back to CBR + BC to DTD.
Anyone have an estimate of what this would cost?

There's a Taxi Fare Calculator in the "Popular Transportation Links" sticky at the top of the Transportation forum.
You'd need the addresses of the hotels, but I'm positive those are available at the bottom of each resort description page on Allearsnet.com

We took a taxi from the Poly to the BW and it was about $14 w/o tip for the two of us. We also took taxis back and forth between DTD and the Poly and I think it was $15 each way w/o tip. I thought the taxis were very convenient, there was always one or two waiting outside the hotel and a whole slew at DTD. It sure beat taking a bus from the Poly to one of the parks or DTD and transfering to get to another hotel, we got where we wanted to go in minutes instead of hours.

I tried the link to estimate cab fares, the Disney parks are already in the system, you can add addresses for hotels.
What a great help. I really reccomend it to all of you who have questions about cabs. I think it's worth the fare if you are going resort to resort and don't want to transfer, wait, etc.
