It's pretty much planned out summer 2014... 7 nights either POR or CSR (I can't make a final decision), Will do 6 park days, ddp & WP&More. Would LOVE to add a night RO at a Deluxe, (Wilderness Lodge or Beach Club) maybe adding an 8th night before or after. Would not go to a park that day... Do many ppl do this? Is it more trouble that I think? Thoughts??? It's me & ds14, ds14, ds10.... TIA

Split stays are very common! We've done one this past June and will do so again this week and in May. It's super easy to do. Disney will even transfer your things from the first resort to the next. But be prepared it won't arrive till after 4pm. Possibly later. For us we just take a cab when transferring between resorts. It's just easier for us. More so a peace of mind for me b/c I like to know my things are there if I need them.

ThankYou for your input! It would just be to add an xtra day to prolong our trip. Figuring that just adding one night RO would be less expensive plus we would get to hang out at a deluxe! Thanks again! :)

As the pp said, split stays are very common and a lot of people do them as it is nice a way to try different resorts in 1 trip. With that said, one thing to keep in mind is your room might not be available until later in the day, so you might be "homeless" for a good part of the day on the day of the switch. If that won't be an issue for you, I say go for it. We have stayed at both the BC and WL and while the WL is our favorite of the two, we did enjoy the BC. Good luck with your decision and have a great trip.
