We were wearing our lime green shirts for the most part & most of the people found us in EPCOT!

With the exception of Fire14 who was sat across from in Donald's Breakfastsaurus!

Our dear dd who's 2 wants to see the big ball again ... AKA spaceship earth & dd 4 wants another Mickey Bar!

Our shirts are washed & ready to be worn on our next adventure ... tbd!

I want to plan the next trip to meet the ever popular Dan Murphy & Delswife! What a great addition they are to the boards!

Hello! I'm totally new and in Dec will be our 1st trip to WDW!!!

Hi scrappnmom-

Welcome to the DIS and congrats on your first trip to WDW. Unfortunately a LOT of people who aren't DISers also wear lime green - it seems to be a popular color. However, you can buy official DIS merchandise, including t-shirts here: http://www.disshop.com/subcat.asp?0=206 .

There are lots of posts about lime green stuff for DISers on the Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies board and also on the Community Board. Sometimes people will spot you , sometimes they won't .

The lime green Mickey shaped paint chips you can get at Home Depot are also used by lots of DISers as "identity" tags. I laminated some of those and had them and some lime green curling ribbon attached to my backpack in May. The best thing for me, though, was the DIS button that you can buy at the DIS shop I mentioned above. I had it on the front strap of my backpack, and LOTS of people looked at my button - DISers and non-DISers alike.

When are you going in December? I know a lot of DISers will be there for Mousefest http://allearsnet.com/btp/mousefest.htm during the first part of December. I hope to be there then. In fact there will be lots of DISers there all during December http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=542261 .

I'll probably be there right after you head home . Oh well, I'm sure you can find some other DISers to meet up with. This is a great place to make friends, especially when you can attend some meets and meet people in person. Not sure where you live, but several areas around the country occasionally have DISmeets (Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Boston, Ohio, etc.). Keep an eye out for one in your area. And also - start hanging out over on the Community Board - that is a great place to get to know people.

How do I found out about a DISmeet? Is it posted on the boards? I got my dates switched, we'll be there the week of Dec. 6th.

Check this board (the DIS meets board) occasionally, and also make a habit of checking out the Community Board http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=33 . It's fun over there (most of the time ), anyway. Sometimes there will also be postings on the Theme Parks board about meets.
