:sad1: My wife has been having a very tough pregnancy. Baby has been fine but she's been to the hospital 4 times to stop contractions and she's only at week 26. And no we aren't talking Brackston-Hicks. Then Saturday I woke up with Bell's Palsy. Left side of face is stricken. It is a mild case but it is darn annoying as heck. Hopefully, I'll be okay in a few weeks. But Bethany, my wife, goes to get her gall bladder looked at at 11 this morning. Hopefully it's nothing serious but will explain her constant pain and nausea.

Sending thoughts and prayers for you and your wife and baby.

I've known several people that have had to deal with Bell's Palsy, everyone recovered but it can be very annoying to deal with.

Matt, sorry to hear about your health. I will keep you and your wife and baby in my prayers.

Thank you. It's just tough to talk a lot because it gets tiring. But nothing major. So many people have things worse than me so I'm trying to stay in perspective on that. I'm mainly concerned about my wife. Doctor says baby is doing very good so that's a relief. Now if we can get my wife better. With last pregnancy, we were on the go constantly. Heck, we were at WDW at 37 weeks! haha She was having a grand ol time dancing at the British Invasion and Off Kilter. haha Poor girl now has a hard time with everything! We have 3 other daughters besides the upcoming boy so I'm busy taking care of them!

Sorry to hear you are having such a tough time right now...sending some good vibes and pixie dust your way.:goodvibes

I had gall bladder problems a few years ago. I dealt with constant pain and nausea as well, and they finally removed it. Thing shave been better ever since. So, hopefully, they will be able to do something for her as well.

Hi Matt! I hope both you and your DW are on the mend soon.

I just wanted to tell you that I had the same pain and nausea when pregnant with my first. Turns out all those digestive issues from years before that Drs couldn't diagnose where gallstones. I have pregnancy induce gallbladder attacks (caused by the elevated levels of estrogen). At 20 weeks pregnant I was in such acute pain they opted to remove it. Fortunately the laproscopic (sp) surgery happened with in 24 hours of diagnoses so no time to really worry about it.
The surgery was very easy, only 4 small incisions, they had me under anesthesia for less than 10 minutes (!!!) and baby did great! He's now 4.5 and is fine! They told me early in the 2nd trimester is the best time to have to do this. Baby is big enough to handle the small amount of anesthesia but small enough to get around to pull the gallbladder out.

My prayers are with you and your family. I hope DW is able to manage it by a low fat, low dairy diet!

I hope all is going to be just fine for you and your family.
Grab all the support you can find.
Keeping looking forward the growing family and your trip to WDW.

Keeping you and your family in my thoughts...

You certainly are having a tough time now. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers! Hope you are both feeling better soon!

Okay, that is a tough week. Sorry to hear you're having to deal with so much, especially all at once. Good thoughts going out...

Pete

Thanks for the nice words everybody, I really appreciate it. Doctor wants my wife to come back in Friday after he gets her gallbladder test results. He said if she was getting worse by then he was going to put her in the hospital depending on the results. I think he's just wanting to monitor her. He's a very compassionate doctor. My wife got upset that Friday was my birthday and I said I've spent my birthday in worse places than a hospital! hahaha

Thanks again for the kind thoughts. It is definitely appreciated. :)

I hope you both feel much better very soon :goodvibes! Sending good thoughts and prayers for you both :).
