My bedroom furniture was positioned the same throughout my childhood. Then about 5-6 years ago we moved it around and it's been like that ever since.
While I was at college my mum rearranged my room back to how it was when I was a child.
I can't stop staring at it! It's the most bizarre, nostalgic feeling.

If you ever feel like ressurrecting your past and bringing back some old memories, this is definitely worth a try if you still live in the same home!

Wow--when I moved out, my mom converted my old room to her office. Bed, dressers, everything, GONE. G O N E.

Ohj don't worry, When I move out properly my room will be my mum's shoe room!
I'm still living at home outside of college time and I guess I will until I can afford to move out after I graduate.
She rearranged it for practical reasons more than anything. It so weird, I feel like I'm a kid again!

Too funny, my old room is some short of HUGE walk in closet or a dressing room, mom and dad have purchased cabinets, dressers, mirrors, a chair. I wish I had a room like that.

I must be one of the only people I know that their room at home is EXACTLY the same as when I left (I graduated high school almost 6 years ago). My parents haven't touched a thing and won't even go into my room without calling and asking me. My mom needs to get her act together with the other two crap-filled bedrooms before she would be able to tackle mine!

I keep meaning to clean it out because I'm TIRED OF THE NOSTALGIA!! :rotfl:

When I go home, I even still sleep in my "big girl bed" at 23 years old. And yes, "big girl bed" means the bed I got once I outgrew my CRIB. :confused3

yep - as soon as I can get rid of a kid,

I have one child in College and another is a Junior in HS. I am counting down the days/years until I can finally lay claim to those bedrooms! :rotfl:

DD's will be a scrapbook room for me.

I told DS that the hot tub goes in his room!

They are not amused! :rotfl2:
