What a rip off!!!

I bought a carton of Minute Maid reduced sugar OJ. I don't tolerate sugar well but I love OJ so I was really excited. I get it home, pop it open and gulp some down.........

IT'S NOTHING BUT REGULAR WATERED DOWN OJ!!! They use 1/2 the OJ they normally do and charge you even more for it

Both Minute Maid and Tropicana are offering reduced sugar oj now. Not even going to bother with trying Tropicana.

Oh, and I bought Petey a box of doggie breath mints. MUCH better now!

I've never bought it before but have seen it in stores. I guess it makes sense that it's just watered down OJ because the "sugar" in OJ is all from the oranges anyway. That's what fruit juices are... sugar.

Really deceiving though. I would think they'd at least add artificial stuff to it to make it taste like regular OJ!!

That was my thinking too, that maybe they threw in some splenda or something rather than corn syrup or whatever they add to regular oj. I don't much care for unsweetened oj so I had high hopes.

Tropicana's Light & Healthy w/Calcium is actually pretty darn good. It does have Splenda in it--I just checked. I won't drink Minute Maid anything because it all seems very watered down, but this Tropicana doesn't seem that way at all. The taste reminds me a little of a 50/50 bar which makes me like it even more.

I the Tropicana kind! I buy it in the little cartons and take it with me instead of drinking so many cokes. I never buy minute maid cause it's I don't know why but it tastes "oily" to me. That's the only word I can think of to describe it. lol
