and in chicago. I think the Taste is running. Most other festivals start today or tomorrow.

one week ago I was losing a few pounds a day, working outside in 90 degree heat. Yesterday I almost needed a jacket and today it is raining.

I hope it clears up before tomorrow, we planned to hit the carnival in the evening. And saturday we are driving/marching in two parades. I wonder who would show up to watch if it is raining?

It is freezing here in Milwaukee today. I am going to see my crush Willie Nelson tonight at Summerfest, and now I need to come up with a new outfit....and I don't want to wear jeans and a jacket!!!

Unfortunately we don't have time to go to the Taste this year, but I think this weather is perfect for it! I'd much rather walk around in these comfortable temps than the 95 degrees it usually is, and was last week.

ok, agreed. But no rain and maybe even a little sun would be nice for june/july!

I DO NOT FEEL BAD FOR YOU.

it has been raining or cloudy pretty much near constantly since the beginning of June. We've had MAYBE 2 or 3 decent beach days.

i work as a vendor, taking care of annual flowers, and we've had to throw away THOUSANDS of dollars worth of plants, because they're all dying due to a complete lack of sunlight.

as i speak, there's a thunderstorm going on outside that just rolled in (er...maybe i should get off the computer...) but it's been cloudy all day.

if you check the forecast for SE Massachusetts...it's just sad. i think people are starting to go a little loopy because of the lack of sunlight. We had a nicer APRIL than June.

sorry...ranting...but a FEH to you and your measly week of rain!! :snooty:

actually a good soaking before the 4th is good to help prevent fires.
