What a night!

Well that was depressing. I played all night and didn't make it to the end of the quest.

Let's see - I disconnected, I ran out of gas in JC ( soooo ashamed!! ), disconnected, DSL connection shut off, disconnected, suddenly had a firewall I never had before, disconnected, DSL shut off, finally finished JC and moved on. Made it to Fireworks. Disconnected, started a game was #7 and end of first round, disconnected, made it to round 3, back to lobby, start again, back to lobby, and again, back to lobby, disconnected, lost DSL - gave up, went back, gave up again, ran virus scan just in case, logged back in - took 15 minutes at the "bar" VMK CLOSED!

Oh yeah - and I had offered to get two hats for someone who couldn't play tonight.


So! What fun things did you all do tonight?

I finished the quest, got my hat, changed my hair color because purple hair doesn't look right with a pirate hat with black "sideburns", played fireworks and won a fireworks pin eventhough I came in 1st.
and I bought 2 of the Pirates 5/5 pins today too.

oh and when it came to buying an item at Golden Horseshoe I splurged for a red HM Leota table (instead of green or purple) since I always wanted one and figured..heck, I got enough credits, let's get it!

..and then I found out this red table cannot be sold. interesting....
and I moved my pirate organ -out- of my VMK photo museum because that odd little tune it plays was driving me crazy. I put it in my 'furniture garage' room so all 10 of them can play at once. (which they don't and it sounds really awful)

I got the hat and helped my girls get them. My youngest was able to trade it for one of the animator's desks and she is STILL talking about it as I try to put her to bed. She is so very excited. It was a little frusterating, but fun! Sorry you had such a hard time I didn't get any of the baseball stuff due to having computer issues, so I know your pain!

If it helps, I think the hat is supposed to be available all weekend. The same quest, same prize. At least that's what Host Hula said earlier this week.

I feel your pain -

What was the deal with fireworks tonight???
- returned to lobby for no apparent reason
- hitting all flawless and not getting moved on
- dc
- not getting "whisked off" to the game at start

It was truly a test in endurance.

What seemed like a 45 minute quest took me about 4 hours. Fun.
