I went to the paint section to get a lime green Mickey head I have heard people on this board speak of. The supply of all colors was completley stocked full...except the 2 lightest shades of green! They were completley empty! I bet they can't figure out why that is!

We (Diser's) use them for ID's(to let other Diser's know we are members of the DisBoards when they see you in Disney). Lime green is our sign so to speak. Hope this helps. I hope I explained it right, lol :) :) .

There's a couple of different shades of green.
You need to pick up "Alien Green".

I have often wondered if they are always running low on the alien green. They probably wonder why they have to keep restocking it. LOL

oh my gawd that is a great idea !!!..i have got to pick up a handful the next time i am there !!!

I laminated mine and hole punched it and hung it on my backpack. No one said Hi though. :( I will try again this year.

Rather than taking a handful, I just took one and scanned it into my computer and then printed out color copies. They came out great! I will be laminating. DH keeps asking me what they are for???? Little does he know.

:thumbsup2

We went to Home Depot today & they were also out of the Alien Green so I got the next shade(Sonic Boom). It isn't that much different from the Alien
Green. :cool1:

Too funny! :rotfl:

I have one that I laminated and hung on my backpack. I got to meet a handfull of Disers that way! :teeth:

I bet they wonder why they always have to keep restocking the paint chips, but hardly ever sell any paint that color.

do they actually have the mickey head? or do you have to cut and glue it together yourself? anyone have a pic??? :)

Those paint chips are the best. I took about 5 of each of the red, black, and yellow and peeled them off the paper backing. then I Mod Podged them to the door of my Mickey Mouse bathroom, It turned out really cute.

Here's what they look like. The blue lettering is my handywork. Everything else is how you get them at Home Depot.

oh thank you! :goodvibes where in home depot do you find that? under a certain section of paint? i totally have to get one for my next trip. by the way, i love you baby countdown, that is sooo sweet! never saw that one before :sunny:

My DS's room is painted in Alien Green on the upper half and a blue (don't remember the Disney color name) on the lower half. And the colors are seperated by the Buzz border and I have Toy Story wall stickies all over too. And I made a Buzz valance for his window. The colors are soooo cool! He just loves it!! Everyone who comes over just says WOW!! They would have never thought to pick that color but it goes great with the border and stickies and valance too. :thumbsup2

Just go to the paint section. You can't miss the paint chips. Just look for the Disney by Behr section.

Thanks for the comments on the baby ticker. :)

Last year I got a stack of them in different colors (including the lime green), cut the heads out, put magnetic tape on the back of each and stuck them to our door in a heart on our anniversary and a #4 on my DS 4th b-day. What a great way to celebrate while at WDW!
