We have just had a really nice weekend!! It was Caitline's 7th birthday yesterday, so on Saturday she had a party with her school friends. There were 7 girls in total and we took them to Cheeky Chimps (an indoor soft play area), and then to pizza hut. She had a great time at that.
Then on Sunday, our neighbours little girl, Rachel, had her first birthday party, and we were all invited to that. As usual with these neighbours, no expense is spared with the food, and what a spread they put on. Caitline had great fun at this also.
Then yesterday evening Caitline had another little tea party with her 3 little friends who live close by. They had sausages, pizza, etc to eat and then just made their own entertainment, with music and the ps2 which we bought Caitline for her birthday. My mum, dad and brother were also there.
What made it extra good, was, we have made up with friends who we had a major falling out with 1 1/2 years ago, and they came round also, with their son Matthew, who is almost 9, and their little girl Aimee, who will be 1 at the end of January. Caitline and Matthew used to be great mates, and it was so nice to see them playing together after all this time, as if they had never been apart. Caitline went to sleep last night talking about Matthew and when he could come around again!! I think that was nearly the best bit of her whole birthday weekend!!!
The house was a real mess when everyone left, but so what, if Caitline had fun, in Caitline's words 'WHO CARES'.

SORRY, POSTED ON WRONG BOARD, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE MOVE THIS TO THE COMMUNITY BOARD, THANKS!!!
