Hi,

As a guy, I hate cleaning my shower, so when I was out yesterday I saw this thing on the shelf and figured I would give it a try. What you do is hang it from the shower head and when you get out to turn it on and it sprays in a cirlce for 12 seconds and it cleans it's self. It was only $25.00 and well worth it in my opionion.

I was really skeptical about this, but my shower and tub have never been cleaner and I didn't have to scrub once. All the soap scum and mildew was completely gone. I have no idea how it works but it does.

A guy that does bathrooms.

I like the scrubbing bubbles too! :teeth:

Here is the item I'm talking about

escape,

I like a clean bathroom just like the next person, but I hate cleaning it so I try to find things that make it go faster like the auto shower cleaner.

Hmmm, I saw this on TV & as soon as I see it in my store I'm going to give it a shot - I *hate* cleaning the bathroom!

I hear you. I do to. :thumbsup2

I've had one for a couple of months now. I was testing it out as a bzz campaign, as many were here on the Dis. I don't think it works very well. I purposely left soap scum in one area to see if it would clean it - it didn't. The spray doesn't reach very far. I know in my shower/tub it only reaches about 1/2 way, leaving the other 1/2 (1/2 of the side wall, 1/2 of the shower curtain and the opposite end from the shower head) untouched. It doesn't even reach the tub at all. I'm almost done with my 2nd bottle of cleaner and will not be replacing it.

That thing was MADE for my small stall shower. I have not had to do any additional cleaning since I installed mine.

Same here I have also been testing it for the bzz campaign. I'm having the same problems you are having it only gets half the the shower clean and the bottom of the tub it also does not do I good job with. I will not be replacing it once I get through the second bottle either.

Basically all it is just a daily spray for your shower. I have been using the tilex daily spray in the past and it does a better job then the shower cleaner. And it's cheaper!

I wonder if I should try it then? We also have a small stand up shower. Hmm.....

I alos had it with a bzzcampaign. I think it did well at first and then it got pretty poor. I would up giving it away on freecycle before my 2nd bottle finished.

Mine actually reached the tub though.

I just bought this today. I have one of those small shower stalls. Admittedly, I did not read the directions. Put the thing together, pushed the button and was waiting for the thing to start. It didn't. As I was examining the nozzle it all of a sudden sprayed stuff out. Right into my eyes. Uuugghhh. I rinsed them out. I hope I don't go blind.

Yes, there is a bit of a pause before the stuff comes out. My son wanted to "watch" it clean he also got an eyeful.

Cool! I love real world endorsements! I saw the ad on TV and went "HMMMM" - I wonder if that works as well as they say it does. I just haven't run out to get one because I was waiting to hear some real life reviews (and I haven't looked that hard for ones either though).

I saw it at Sam's a few weeks ago for $20. I almost bought it.
Like many FL homes, in the main bathroom we have a "garden" :confused3 tub with a shower separate. The shower is not a small one. About bathtub size I would say.
So maybe best to pass on this product. :confused3
We use soap in bottles so we don't have the soap scum. That makes a lot of difference already.

Too bad you couldn't use two!! I think this thing will work well in my shower stall, but it is small. I could see where this wouldn't work great in something larger.

Ditto!! :thumbsup2

We have a stall shower w/ a glass door. It is impossible to get in there and get the shower cleaned and then rinsed - at least not without soaking yourself in the process.

I put in our Automatic Shower Cleaner a couple of weeks ago and I love it! It does a beautiful job keeping my shower walls & door squeaky clean

Sounds like a good thing to put in the kid's shower. They are supposed to keep it clean, but it's a disaster yet again.
