However, the due date is exactly when our family was going to be on the Disney Wonder. So since that vacation is out of the question,:sad2: we will be visiting WDW in April, at which time our DIL will be 4-5 months pregnant.

Now I know this topic has been covered many times on the boards, but we have spent little (DW) or no time (me) reading the responses. So here goes:

What attractions would you recommend our daughter-in-law avoiding during our visit next spring? Thank you for your responses.popcorn::

Also, she will tell her family this Christmas and they had asked us to keep it a secret until then, so please...SHHHHHHHHHHH!!!:thumbsup2

Congratulations!!!

I was 22 weeks pregnant due our recent trip this summer. I pretty much did everything that I could. I avoided all the rides in which there were warnings posted- all the Roller Coasters, the Rapids, Tower of Terror, Misson Space. Most of the rides you can do. I did Soarin and Toy Story Mania without issue.

The biggest thing is drinking plenty of water and taking breaks when needed.

Congrats to you and your family!

I was pregnant twice while on vacation at Disney over the past five years and my OBGYN said to avoid any rides with a lap or bar restraint. AS far as she is not high risk I would stick to rides like the Jungle cruise, Dumbo, Small World, etc. This is a great time for her to relax, shop, see the shows, and just all the other great things there is to do at Disney. Rides are only a small part of the fun! HAve a wonderful trip.

Thanks for bringing this question up again! DW is now 17 weeks pregnant and we will be going to WDW in February - right around the 6 month mark. I would love to read/hear more about which rides DW can and can't do.
