WHAT A DIFFERENCE 6 MOS. MAKES (or how I learned to love MK) COMPLETE-WRAP-UP 12/29

Oh my! You were an updating maniac :goodvibes

I will miss stuff but here goes (in no particular order lol). I am SO glad to see you loved Kouzzina for breakfast. That is the same item I ordered and it has to be one of my favorite breakfasts, anywhere, EVER! I'm sorry Max's surgery had to be rescheduled but definitely sounds like the right call. Waiting has to be a bit agonizing though.

I'm with you on the not getting DTD. Frankly...it gives me a headache! I want to like it, really I do and I did love the old Pleasure Island back in the day but while I will go there each trip and love WPE and Raglan...I feel like I'm running the gauntlet walking through there. WOD overwhelms me completely. In fact outside of RideMakerz (or whatever it's called) I don't think I've bought hardly anything there over the last few trips and I just looked at Ridemakerz, the boys built the car while I was at tea! :thumbsup2 I am much much the same way with souvies. I don't tend to buy a whole lot and rarely apparel, it really has to grab me and ITA about it having park specific info on it or only available at the parks or why pay more. That said I saw all those post it's in your picture and went...I should have bought some of those! :rotfl:

What a great wrap up. I can really see where an MK resort would appear given Max's age but loved how much time you got to spend at Epcot and SAB. Last but not least...Tink and Max. Priceless.

Hello! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I did this because I really wanted to wrap this up so I can start a PTR for my February trip. :lmao: Plus, I'm off all week and we've been doing a whole lot of nothing, just relaxing, so I've had plenty of time.

Yeah, pretty much. What are going to do? He's a little kid and its winter. Chances were good he'd have a cold.

I haven't really seen any merchandise there that I couldn't get in Disneyworld itself.

Thanks! I'm really excited to being staying at the Poly. I'm hoping I don't completely love it, just because its a bit more expensive than the BC. Oh, and perhaps if I'm going this often I might consider going back to CSR! :confused3

We are swimmers. I swam competitively for years as a kid and I LOVE being in the water. Running into her right there really was amazing. :thumbsup2 What a way to end our trip!

Thanks for the great report Tina!

It looks like you had a great trip (even with a few meltdowns from time to time) The weather looked perfect too!

I know Max (& you) will have a good experience at CCMC. We love it there (as much as one can love a hospital) I even had a DIS meet at the hospital with a DIS Dad who is a doctor there! :lmao::lmao:

I lok forward to following your PTR! :goodvibes:goodvibes

Thanks, Tim! I thought about you guys a lot when we were coming back from his pre-op appointment. The release form you have to sign really made me think. So I appreciate the support!

And, yes, we had a wonderful trip and FANTASTIC weather. Do you know we've never gotten stuck in the rain? :rotfl:

I know you are in good hands. But I know it is scary for him and you.

You mean you've never seen this in person? :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I just have to tell you that your TR has caused a lot of trouble for me.

First, your wonderful pictures got me looking into BC. Then, just all the talk about going to Epcot so easily, got me wondering if the Epcot area resorts are really a wonderful location, even with a preschooler. As if that wasn't enough, then you had to go & tell me all about that yummy breakfast you had at Kouzzina - a place I never even considered to look at before!

Well, because of all your trouble-making :lmao:, it looks like we are going to change our reservation for next December to stay at Boardwalk. We want to try BC when it's warmer & can truly enjoy SAB. And, yes, we'll be eating at Kouzzina. Once for dinner (per DH's request) and once for breakfast (for me).

Seriously, great TR! I've really enjoyed "seeing" what it's like to stay in an Epcot area resort. I'm excited to call & change our reservation next week! :goodvibes

Wow, I can't believe you finished this TR. You certainly made good use of your week off:thumbsup2

It is amazing how much of a difference there was between this trip and your last.

It looks like the BC was a great choice. I can't wait to see how you guys like the Poly. I would love to stay there one day but the lack of hot tub always annoys me. Can't they just add one and make everyone happy?

Off to catch up on Pre-TR. I noticed a new ticker and need to see where that came from.
