Our first Disney Christmas vacation was great! Here are a couple of highlights: We had a terrific dinner at the San Angel Inn (Mexico) on Christmas Day, with a table right by the water. Then had front-row seats for the Candlelight Processional with John Stamos reading the Christmas story. The program was fantastic, a perfect ending to a perfect Christmas Day!
On Christmas Eve, I noticed a bug bite on my hand, which had a huge welt around it. By Christmas morning, my entire hand had swollen and was somewhat painful, so I stopped by the First-aid station in EPCOT, just to have it checked. Both nurses felt I needed medical attention, so they called a walk-in clinic nearby. A nice gentleman drove us (no charge) from EPCOT to the clinic, which was located near Downtown Disney. I was seen by a physician, picked up medication at a pharmacy at the clinic and was driven back to EPCOT in less than two hours, just in time for our Christmas dinner at San Angel Inn. And fortunately for me, the pain and swelling in my hand subsided within two days. It certainly was a Christmas to remember!!!
