what 3d glasses would you purchase for rides

I have a co-worker that just came back from DW and Universal. She said that the 3d glasses for the older rides are looking very worn and that the visual affects are not that good. What brand of 3D glasses would someone purchase for the 3D rides? My husband wears glasses can he purchase some from his eye doctor to go over his glasses?

i haven't a clue.
never had a problem with the glasses for rides at the darkside.

It is going to be difficult to buy ones for the rides because they don't use the same 3D technology as a 3D t.v.

I haven't had a pair at any ride throw off the experience. The real problem is people who see the water residue and then use their shirts to try and clean it off. The 3D glasses aren't like regular glasses and can get scratched and bent by doing that. It is better to just let the water spot stay as it won't affect anything than to try and clean it off and ruin the glasses.

You don't have to buy any they give them to ya. Lol

Just like others said its a different technology that you can just buy.

The only 2 shows that still use the older glasses are Shrek 4D and Terminator 2 3D. All other rides use the new 4K glasses.
