What’s Going on Feb??

We have a trip booked for Feb 4-8. Besides Mardi Gras, is there something else that would cause the Royal Pacific hotel to be sold out? Am I missing something? Glad we are already booked, but worried about crowd levels!

Convention holding a large block of rooms? It’s the only resort not showing up on the reservation list, could also be a glitch I suppose.

Looking at the Orlando Conventions calendar, there are 2 big conventions happening Feb 8-10 with upwards of 80k people, and a smaller convention at Sapphire Falls 8-10 as well.

If you try to do a booking at RPR 4-7 then there are rooms. As soon as you add the 8th there is no availablity so as the previous poster mentioned, it's likely convention related.

With these, tons of rooms will get booked up, but then then many usually get cancelled closer to the date.
