Wha to do?

I'm totally getting stressed..I was supposed to make my final decsion today on which WWD resort to stay at choosing between AKL, WL and CSR..we decided on WL woods view but after reading a post totally bashing WL I'm very concernred that I may be picking the wrong resort. It's just me and and my dh on the trip and I want to make it a trip to remember..

Keep an open mind and I hope you'll like WL!! This resort is my family's favorite and we will be staying there next month! If I had the choices you did, I would have definitely picked WL. The theming is great and we find the lodge's transportation very convenient.

Search around the internet some more. I'm sure that you'll find at least two positive comments for each negative one about WL!

You can find great reviews on every resort and terrible reviews on every resort so don't get nervous. Go with what your instincts were telling you and don't second guess yourself.

The WL is wonderful!! Please don't worry or second guess yourself.... remember that this is just the internet and there will always be people who have something to complain about. 9 times out of 10 the complaint isn't really the resort itself but something about a rude CM, a bad mousekeeper, etc, and that can happen anywhere!! So relax and get ready for an awesome trip to the WL!!!! Here's my trip report to get you in the mood:

I agree 100%. I love the Polynesian but I know people on here have said it was a dump

I totally agree!!! I remember back in 2002, before we had ever stayed at the Poly, I was totally convinced the place was a smelly mold infested dump! Then I stayed there and realized it was one of my favorite resorts!

Before computers, people went to Disney and just enjoyed themselves. Now, with all this info, people are getting stressed over nothing. We've always went our way, did our own thing, took the view we paid for and never complained about anything. We're in Disney World, what better place is there to be. We melt right in to the magical spirit, no more grouchiness, no more worries. We have stayed at AKL, Polynesian, Yacht and Beach, Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary. No matter where we stay, we're always thankful and glad that we can go to WDW once or twice a year and stay according to our pocket book for the year. Forget the posts, and have a good time, relax, hang at the pool, take a moonlight dip or walk and watch the EWP and immerse yourself in the world of Disney.

Go with the WL. Every resort gets torn apart here on the boards at one time of the other. If you listened to every negative review you wouldn't stay anywhere on-site.

GO with WL and if you are worried about noise, request a location away from the main lobby area. It is beautiful and you will not regret it.

We loved WL...infact my kids did not want to try anywhere else! We are going back in Oct and are trying AKL just because the rooms for 5 are cheaper than the rooms for 5 at WL...littlest DS was 2 when we went last year.

WL is peaceful, beautiful, relaxing, majestic, romantic...you will have a wonderful time!!

The boat ride to MK is great and we never had one problem with bus service.
