Hi wha tis up with Jan 21-26th All studios at the resorts are booked except SSR. I thought this was a value season

You will notice that even though it is the value season, DVC members love to stay as cheap as possible. The cheaper point periods tend to book up completely. Off season at WDW is often busy season for DVC.

That time frame also lines up with a short winter break for some school districts on the east coast. When DS was younger (he's in college now), we almost always went somewhere in FL for that break to thaw out a little bit--quite often it was WDW. (But, Miami and Key West are good, too )

IBM's Lotusphere 2007 runs Jan 21-25 at the Dolphin/Swan hotels. After 14 years, some of us have purchased DVC for this event rather than deal with conference room rates in addition to climbing conference registration fees.

We might account for some of the crunch at BWV and BCV.

Well...the 21st is my big 4-0 - and all my disney friends are coming to help celebrate!
We are flying in on the 21st and booked an OKW studio at 7 months out. We love January at WDW and as Parkhopper13 said, we like to stay cheap!
