WH-when should I get nervous UPDATE pg 1...no need for nerves

UPDATE: I emailed them and 3 hours later I got a response with my final info. One more step to our vacation....

We are 21 days from our vacation. We rented from wdwhome and paid our deposit back in Sept. The balance was due 30 days ahead. I didn't get the invoice for the payment until 27 days but 30 was a Friday. I paid it the same day and haven't heard anything. According to their notes, I am supposed to receive all my info as soon as they receive payment. That was on Monday morning, it's now Friday.

I'm hoping they are on vacation or something and that's why I haven't heard from them yet. I emailed today and asked if they got my payment.

So when would you get nervous???

I think I would just give them a call. It sounds like you still have about 3 weeks until your vacation, so I wouldn't worry just yet. Hopefully, you'll hear back from them right away with the details. But if it were me, I would definitely give a call! Let us know how it all goes.

I was just wondering if you paid by check or credit card? You do have lots of protection in place if you paid by credit card. Just thinking, too, maybe they didn't process it yet, and that is why you haven't received details.

We paid with Paypal and our credit card. It's posted on our account, Monday.

I just googled and located the website, and it certainly looks on the up and up. Also, I went to www.windsorhillsbest.com and found the website advertised there, and it is a group of owners of Windsor Hills that are verified as owners and that everything is paid up including HOA fees in order to just advertise there. The HOA at Windsor Hills does recognize this website as the official WH owners site. Windsor Hills Rent is also a great site in that it is the largest group of homes advertised by owners in WH but is no longer run by an owner and does not have the same verification process. But the fact that this owner is active on both sites, I would say it really does look legitimate. But I definitely would call and ask for the details just to ease your mind. It is your vacation and you really shouldn't have to worry at all!
