Is BC much closer than WH to the Disney parks? Stayed at BC last time - but am not considering WH. Just read an old post saying 35-40 minutes from WH to the parks? If that's the case, BC is MUCH closer!

TIA,

KC

You aren't going to get much closer to the majority of parks than BC. There are a few places that are closer to AK, but as you already know, AK is on the far side of the property from everything else.

WH if I've noticed it properly on Google Maps is located south of 192 on the west side of the entrance, so it will be quite a bit further away from the parks then BC.

I'm not sure what route one would take from WH to the Disney parks that would take 30-40 min. If you take 192 to Sherbeth the longest it should take is maybe 20 minutes to MK parking lot, 15 to Epcot/ Studios and 5-10 minutes to AK.

BC is closer but WH is a very easy quick hop back and forth. We find it faster to hop in our own car and drive to WH then it is when we take most of the WDW buses back to onsite resorts.

Haven't stayed in WH, but WBC is certainly close. It's actually closer than any of the "onsite" value resorts. I can be parked in any theme park parking lot in less than 15 minutes from WBC.

That said, I've seen a number of posts saying the driving time from WH was almost the same as from WBC. It doesn't look like it on Google Earth (looks like a 15-minute drive to WDW property), but I've read that several times.

I agree with the previous poster -- if you have a car, I think you can drive to any theme park quicker from either WBC or WH than by busing from an onsite resort, with the possible exception of MK because of the fact that Disney buses drop you off AT MK, not at TTC.

And obviously, you'd be able to monorail to MK quicker than drive from the monorail resorts. Monorailing to Epcot from a monorail resort would be a tossup, IMHO.

We have stayed at WH twice (non peak times) and we can be within the parking lot of any 4 parks within 10 minutes. :thumbsup2

We're staying at WBC for the first time in 2 weeks, so I can't really comment. I would assume by the time you leave your condo, get to the parking lot and then drive to one of the parks it should be about the same time.
