The FUNd box sits on the dresser top. "Extra/random" money that comes in gets split between paying down the mortgage and FUNd.
I'd gotten so frugal, that there never was money for fun. Renting a redbox movie rather than going to a first run big bucks show is a good idea. But, even cheapo fun costs something and I'd moved from gazelle intense to grim.
Funding the FUNd is motivating. Last week I listed a bunch of books on half.com and did pretty well. I took on a mini project and half the profit is now available for good times.
