We had booked to go this September, then found out that we were expecting our first little one.

I have eventually come to my senses and decided to re-book for Sept 09. We're going to stay in POR for the first time so I'll be interested in reading reviews of people going this year.

I'm counting down already!! :cool1:

That's great news!! Let the planning begin!

Yey! All that extra time to plan!!!

We're just back from POFQ, and went to Riverside a few times - very nice!

Thanks. :)

I think there will be a lot less planning than normal and it will be a much slower paced holiday.

We have done the parks commando on several occasions (well way more than that for DH) so a slower pace should be a nice change.

Will spend a good amount of time I think brainwashing our baby with all things Disney. ::yes::

Have fun planning and nappy changing.:rotfl2:

Big congrats Jill - I will be going at 23 weeks pregnant this summer! Can't wait to check out the baby stuff in world of Disney. I went in the UK Disney store the other day - they have a cute range of baby stuff including some really cute swimwear so you can get your little one kitted out before you go.

great news!

we booked to go september this year as well, but as you can see Im also in the club lol, so we re booked for halloween 2009.

have a great time and hope everything goes well with baby

Gosh there are a few Dis babies on the way :)

congratulations and enjoy planning your trip x x

That is great news! Congrats on booking. Your little one will have such a ball at that age. My DS was 11 months when we took him and he was so amazing taking everything in. Have fun with your planning! :)

Have fun planning!! We are also looking to go next September and take our little one on their first trip. Haven't booked yet as kinda hoping for free dining!

We moved our September 08 trip up so we went in April 08.

Just hoping I will have enough time to keep up with the boards once baby is here so I don't miss out if they do offer free dining! Mind you I have already started planning!! Well what else do you do on maternity leave :lmao:

Thanks everyone.

There certainly does seem to be a surge on the next generation of DISers currently, good luck to everyone with their little ones. :tinker:

I had my first planning fix trying to figure out where we wanted to stay etc. Ideally we would have gone out in October (we got married in the WP on 27/10/04) but direct flights from Belfast stop early September and the thought of travelling to Dublin or over to 'the mainland' with a baby just plain scared me!

4 weeks until I am due... what else could I do but plan? :rotfl2:

I know plenty of people do it, but I can't imagine flying with a tiny baby, so I think you've made a wise decision. Have you seen Neoshoegal's post? She's just back from POR and she loved it.

Thanks, it did take me a while to accept it but now I know I am doing the most sensible thing for us.

Not read the post yet... last week in work, should really be preparing my handover documents, but will have a quick look instead. :surfweb:

Have a great trip! We loved POFQ, I think the whole Port Orleans complex is lovely :)

POR is beautiful! Plenty of places to walk your new baby!!!!! It's a lovely boat ride down to DTD too!!!!!

pixiedust: Lots of good wishes to all you new Dismums pixiedust:

:grouphug: We could do with a group photo of all the new babies in the coming months:grouphug:
