... help!!!

Hi everyone! We're WDW veterans but have yet to take a DC or any cruise for that matter and are looking to do one for hubbies birthday!

Right now I'm planning on doing the three night cruise on 10/28/04 (His 22nd Birthday) and have priced it at 1360.70 through the official Disney Cruise site. That's for a Cat. 10 and the Romantic Escape at Sea add on.

So here are my questions:
- What has the weather been like at the end of Oct. beginning of Nov. in the past?
- Any suggestions for a romantic and special Birthday dinner for the first night?
- Is the Romantic Escape package worth the extra $? If I do it, it would be a surprise!
- Cat. and stateroom preferences and why?
and
- I know that I can get better room rates by calling Disney directly, does the same thing go for cruises? We're Annual Passholders and Florida Residents, and I recently booked a room only stay through The Magic For Less Travel and am really happy so far! Any other ides?

Thanks everyone!

click the link at the top of the page and try dreams for a no obligation quote i know if u book through them they r offering a $50.00 dollar rebate right now......so that will reduce the cost of your price,.......

Have they released Florida Resident rates for the time you are going??? If not yet, when they do release them check with Disney or your TA to have a credit applied to your reservation if the price drops due to Fla. Res rates.

Hi,
Re the weather, we cruised on the Wonder last Oct (I think we sailed Oct 24) and the weather was wonderful! It was hot but comfortable enough to sit on the deck by the pools for hours. Not much wind. Nassau and Castaway Cay were quite hot; probably 85-90 degrees Farenheit. We found it a little too hot but then of course, we're from the great white north. And when it got too hot, we just went back on the ship and it was very comfortable there.

We're cruising again in Oct (sailing Oct 30/04 on the 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise) so we obviously had no problem with the weather!

Thanks guys!

Hygiene-
Have you used Dreams Unlimited before? I'm really thinking about going through a TA completely for this cruise!

mmouse-
As far as I know they haven't released any codes for that far out yet, and if they do will most likely wait till sometime during the summer- i'm guessing. But then all I would have to do is ti call back and ask for the price to be adjusted accordingly?

Lynda,
Ah, well we are Florida residents and the 80- high 90's are pretty much standard temperatures for us! Thanks so much!
