Islands of Adventure is pretty neat. I went to the grand opening for all of the press with "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," but I have not been back yet! We were some of the first people to go on any of the rides. I got to see Rosie go on The Hulk and Steven Spielberg on Jurassic Park! It was an awesome day! We'll be having afternoon tea at the Garden View Tea Room at GH! I can't wait to go back! Have you started packing yet!? The countdown is on!

ohhh... and i haven't started packing yet. i'm getting there though. i still need to do laundry this weekend. then packing will be in full force.

I am so glad you have FINALLY found me and are enjoying me Trippie! I still got lots to go and I will be writing a new one pretty soon after I complete this one, so there is SO MUCH MORE to come! I'm excited just thinking about it!

I'll have to ask if DH knows about Smithfield or if he's been there. I know nothing about RI and I've only been there once. We went to Woonsocket and Providence, so I could see the sights. I loved hearing DH talk when I first met him. I mock him all the time in a sweet loving way! I don't even know how to type the way he talks! My favorite words are car, bar, beer, and yard.

Thank you for the luck on the move and my wisdom teeth! Thanks for the advice too! I plan on taking plenty of pain killers! I know I'm going to be feeling it around 3:00am when I am trying to sleep! Being in pain is no fun at all, but I'll have my parents take care of me. I gotta milk-it for all it's worth!

Well if you ever do go back to RI make sure you make it down to the beaches and Newport. You will also have to go to a place called Aunt Carrie's in pt. Judith that has wicked good clam cakes and lobster rolls. The lobster rolls are wicked big chunks of claw meat and you have to get it on the homemade bread not the roll. Oh wait you are a Vegetarian...do you eat seafood????

Anyways living here in MD I get laughed at for my accent all the time by my friends and DFi especailly if I have just gotten back from visiting with my parents....my Mom has the worst accent. My last name is Marshall and on the answering machine at home she doesn't even say the "r" in Marshall it is more like "Mahshall."

Anyhoo.....Great installment on the trip report, they are so much fun to read! Loved the snow on Main Street!!! You have me thinking about getting a Pal Mickey for my trip now. Can't wait to read more!

I've been up and packing ALL day! I'm FINALLY taking break! DH & I are on our way to sign house papers tomorrow!

Ty and I had a blast meeting you and DH also!! Actually, when your DH yelled "hey" to us we were in a rush also and I didn't recognize him at first. I thought he was just some guy likin' my hat. Tynan, a.k.a. Eagle Eyes, who always finds the hidden Mickeys, said "Hey, Mom, that's your friend."
"Ohhh!!" Then I turned back and yelled Hi back and we all stopped to chat and take a quick picture. I'm so glad we did!! Now I have new DIS friends, and a homie at that!

Thank you! I thought you'd like it! I know you've been impatiently waiting for it! I call my Mom "Eagle Eyes!" I'm so glad we ran into each other too and had more time to chit-chat! Now, we can see you every time you make it down to WDW! I sure hope you can make it to the DIS Halloween Party!!

Lindsey......yep Halloween is my bday. Let me know if you see any Mary Poppins stuff for a costume once you get moved.

He told me I had to tell you! He also wanted me to tell you I tried the coffee milk there! It's his fav place! He went all the time when he was a kid and loves the cookies! Here are some pics I took on my first trip to RI to DH's hometown!

Oh, and no I don't eat any seafood. I'm a strict vegetarian and I don't drink milk either. I'm not a full-out vegan, but I'm pretty close. I'm so glad you are loving my Trippie!

It's a good thing I'm moving to Florida! I can handle the WDW snow too! It's the best and it never piles up either.

I don't mind at all! No one has ever told me I look like Scarlet Johansen before! I will take it because she was voted the most beautiful woman in the world not too long ago! Everyone tells me I look like Jennifer Aniston. I get it ALL the time from all kinds of people and strangers, even CM's at WDW! I actually won a Jennifer Anistion look-a-like contest at a radio station when the series finale of "Friends" aired. DH looks a lot like David Schwimmer and everyone tells him that! So, we really are the new Ross & Rachel! Everyone gets a big kick out of it!

Im not a cold weather person eather...ugh i really hate it. I dont ski or anything so the snow does nothing for me but make more work. Oh and guess what?! My best friend, her boyfriend and myself may be moving down to Florida! we have talked about it before and Its still wayyyy in the planning stages. we really gotta crunch some numbers but we all need to get away and kind of get off to a new fresh start! And we all love Florida so much and the weather and stuff it seems like the perfect place! haha i just had to share because i will be so wicked excited if it really goes through!

I don't really like the cold either but we don't get too much choice up here in the Great White North.

DW and I really want to move down to the states, we'd love to move to Florida but they don't seem to have much use for an Oil & Gas Engineer down there. Texas or Louisiana would be decent options too but it doesn't look like too many places are hiring junior engineers like myself. Oh well, I'll just keep searching!

I love the Ross & Rachel comparisson! You guys look very much alike! DW and I don't look much like any celebs that I know of but that doesn't bother me too much.

Thank you so much and I'm glad you've joined us once again! I didn't realize you were going to WDW so soon! I will be going job hunting once we get settled, so around the second or third week of February. I've gotta get a job, so it'll be as soon as possible, but I can't handle that and moving at the same time. It's not for me! DH travels a lot now too, so I gotta be home to take care of stuff. I may be living alone for a month or so in Florida. It's okay though, I got Mickey! I'll be letting everyone know what's going on with my plans! I've got my Trip Reports coming! Just keep an eye out for them on the TR Boards!

I love Rosie and loved that doll! I got it for Chritmas and my Mom was at Toy "R" Us at 5:00am to get it! *N SYNC has been around for a long time! About 12 years now. Yes, I know this because I am a fanatical Backstreet Boys fan and know way too much! I am not a fan of *N SYNC ro every was, but kept an eye on them because they were competition! I'm insane, I know this!

Yes, I got that close to Steven and a few other celebrities. Rosie gave us free passes to Islands of Adventure as our audience prize! The park had not opened to the public yet, so it was just Rosie's audience, press, and celebrities there to promote the new park. A lot of the cast from "Jurassic Park" was there and Steven, of course! Plus, Whitney Houston (she yelled at me for taking a picture...haha!), Eddie Murphy, Rosie, of course, and people from all the entertainment shows. There were a few others, but I can't remember now. This was in May of 1999!

Oh yeah...Del's! I had some when I was there and I bought a whole bucked of Del's Lemonade mix, so I could make it at home! I totally forgot about that! Then, we went to Las Vegas and they had Del's there! Yummy! Yummy!
