When are you going in March? I will also be joining my family when they come down in March for a WDW vacation!

We are going March 16-21--it is an "adults only" trip. . .my friend and her DH are leaving their kids with the grandparents, and we are headed to WDW!! Will you be there at the same time?

I love the turkey! I will have to look for one of those in March. I am going to get a new car before the end of the year, hopefully, so I have to get a good collection of antenna toppers!!!

Two other quick questions--where did you get the C & D in the Christmas attire? I love them!! Also, you mentioned you had Mickey jibbitz for your crocs. Did you find them on the jibbitz site?

Your dinner ressies look great too. DF and I went to Cinderella's Royal table on our last trip in May and liked it a lot. We have it scheduled again for our Disneymoon...I just love being inside the castle. We're headed to Le Cellier too. We didn't go last time because we figured we should try other things, what with being Canadian and all but after reading rave review after rave review I had to schedule it this time.

I hope the boys stay out of trouble as you do all those last minute things that come up before you leave.

We are staying at Riverside. We've always stayed there. I do believe you fall in love with the first resort you stay at. Either that or we just chose well the first time

I'm a little but confused by your question. Do you mean just quoting part of what I wrote? If that's what you mean then you just have to delete what you want out of it. It takes more time and effort!

I've never been to Shutter's either, so I can't be of any help on that decision, but I will be sure to let you know about Boatwright's! I'm really hoping it's good, so I don't have a bad taste left in my mouth on our last night!

I'll be in Orlando during some of your trip in May, but on a Disney Cruise for part of it! We set sail on May 12! This is my first cruise ever, so I am so excited! I'll be celebrating my 24th birthday on May 15! Pirate Night on the Disney Wonder!

That sounds like a fun trip for you in March! You'll be arriving after we leave. Well, after my family leaves. I'll still be there, technically! My parents are arriving on March 2, I think. We'll be celebrating my Dad's birthday on March 3! It should be a lot of fun! We'll be staying at the Beach Club, my brother's choice!

I am now obsessed with antenna toppers because my last car didn't have an antenna and it drove me nuts! I always saw all the other cars with the cute Mickey antenna toppers and I wanted them too! Chip 'n Dale are from the Disney Store, of course!

The Mickey Jibbitz are not "official" Jibbitz. You'll have to go find them on EBay. They have Mickey and Minnie ones! I haven't gotten any Minnie ones, but I might!

The Boys have been nuts, especially Chip 'n Dale! They're very excited about the trip and can't wait to start packing! Chip 'n Dale want to know when they're going to come out with Chip 'n Dale Crocs! They're getting tired of everything being, Mickey, Mickey, Mickey!

Poor little chipmunks! I let them know I them just as much as Mickey!

Post 10

I'm pretty tired at the moment, but I'm still awake!

"I'm too excited to sleep!!!!!!!"


I haven't filled you in on details with my eye problems! My eye has been really bugging me for about two weeks now. It's just really scratchy like there is something in it. I went to see the eye doctor, but there is nothing there! The doctor said she saw irritation under my eye lid and prescribed some drops. I have to put them in my eye every three hours and have been doing so, since last Monday. My eye really hasn't gotten much better! I even had to call back on Friday to get more drops and she told me I need to come back if it doesn't stop. It's so typical! This kinda stuff always happens before a vacation! I've been having to wear my glasses for a week too, since I can't wear a contact in that eye. My glasses aren't a strong enough perscription, so I've been having headaches. I've always got something going on! I'm trying to decide on going back to the eye doctor tomorrow or giving it one more day and going Tuesday. My eye has it's good moments and bad moments!

Either way I'm leaving for WDW on Thursday and I'll just have to deal with it! I probably won't notice it bothering me when I'm in WDW anyway! I'll start wearing my contacts again too! My eye doesn't bother me when I'm wearing my contacts because it's my eye lid scratching my eyeball that is the problem! I know! I know! GROSS!

Okay...I'll get off my eyeball rant!!




Well, Dale has been driving me nuts all day! He is really ready for Thanksgiving! He keeps bugging me about wanting his first Thanksgiving meal!

I knew there is no way he or I could make it until Thursday, so I decided to let him have a little preview of his up and coming Thanksgiving feast!

Now, my favorite item on the table during Thanksgiving is that lovely jellied item in the can!

That's right! The famous Cranberry sauce shaped like a can!

(Did anyone else notice the new can label this year & you can only open it on one side now!? What's that about!? Yes, I do notice these things! )

I decided it must be Dale's first taste of Thanksgivng! He was so excited and once his tummy was full, he was off to bed!

(No, Dale didn't eat the entire log! I finished off the rest!)

Well, I have got to get to bed! I'll be back tomorrow!
I can't believe we're leaving in 3 days!!!

Did you like the food at Cinderella's Royal Table? We're going for lunch, so we could save a little money.

Oh I was SO nervous about the food. We had booked it before the big change happened last year and review after review came back throughout February and March that complained about the changes. I thought about cancelling numerous times. In the end I'm SO glad I didn't. We went for dinner and I chose the BLT salad/Prime Rib with Gratin potatoes/ and chocolate cake. The salad was ok. I'm not a huge prime rib fan and it was a bit fatty for me. I really liked the potatoes and the cake was great! I believe DF had the chicken and thought it was good. I can really only compare it to the other places we ate. I thought the food was tastier at Mama Melrose, but CRT was better than the Coral Reef in my opinion. But to be honest in the end the food was the last thing on my mind. I just loved the setting. The stained glass was beautiful and I enjoyed the character interaction. I think you'll get even better character interaction at lunch with all the princesses. I love character meals

Love the Crocs! I also received mine last week and got the black with red. Then my MIL wanted a pair and they were sold out of the size Small on NoFear so she will just have to wait until next trip. Even DH decided to get a pair but he wants Notre Dame instead of Disney, they too are on backorder. Oh well, at least I will be stylin' and hopefully my DS will arrive before we leave so he can style with me. The Crocs.com didn't have as quick of shipping options as the NoFear.

Looks like some great dining choices of ADR's.

I'm cracking up about the new cranberry sauce can I figured I was the only person this year that was "what do you mean I can only open one end of the can and need to run a knife around the edges".

Hope your eye gets better before vacation. I managed to throw out my back while packing up this weekend. It never fails that something happens to add a little extra stress

I try. I try. Dale has been very good today! He even said he want to help me with the laundry and help me pack! Wow! I was shocked!

Thank you! I'm happy to report I woke up this morning and my eye is feeling much better than it has every other morning! I am hoping that is a good sign. I'm going to run out to the store and buy some more eye drops, so I can be totally prepared at WDW!

Mickey, Chip, & Dale do like to come sit on my lap and see who is reading the story about them. They told me they want me to take a lot of pictures of them, so their friends can see all the stuff they did at WDW!

I'm not too concerned with the food either. I'm there to eat in the Castle and just enjoy the atmosphere too! I'm not a picky eater and don't complain about food too often. Now, my DH is another story! The food all sounds yummy to me and can you really go wrong with any dessert!? I don't think so! I character meals too! I have never done a Princess one before! I have been to 1900 Park Fare, but that was just Cinderella. I haven't even met any of the other Princesses! Wow! This is going to be a big night! I think the Boys are going to really enjoy it with all of the pretty ladies around!

I'm glad you got your Crocs! Those are my fav one by the way! I had a feeling they would sell out quickly everywhere! That's why I made sure to get two pairs. I know I'd be kicking myself if I didn't! I wanted to get another pair of Crocs anyway and I was waiting on the Disney Crocs because I knew I'd want more than one pair!
I hope your DS gets his Crocs, so you and him can be totally stylin'! I think my DH is also getting curious about Crocs.

Now, I know I'm not the only crazy one with the cranberry sauce! When I picked it up off the shelf at the store I was confused and didn't even think it was the real stuff! Then, when I opened it, it got even weirder when I could only open one side! I also noticed the new directions with "running the knife around the edges." Seriously, what's the deal!?

I did see on the Food Network last year about how one year they got rid of the ridges on the inside of the Cranberry Sauce can, so there were no ridges on the Cranberry long either! There was a huge uproar by the public because they wanted the ridges on their Cranberry log! Sure enough, next year...the ridges we're back in the can and on the log! They are still there this year, even if there is a new can and label!

I'm sorry to hear about your back! You better try and take it easy before the trip! That's the last thing you need before trying to ride Space Mountain! I think my eye is slowly healing!

We ate our Thanksgiving Dinner at Boatwrights when we were at WDW four years ago. At least my husband and I did. Our kids had steak and chicken fingers. All the food was great! I've heard that their breakfasts are really good also.
