SURPRISE!

My DH surprised me with a trip to WDW for Thanksgiving! The original plan was to drive down Thanksgiving Day and spend the rest of the weekend at the World for a quick holiday trip, since my DH actually had some time off of work!

This was before my Mom & I had decided to stay in Florida for a couple of EXTRA days after visiting the relatives, so we could drive down to WDW and go to MNSSHP! Mother/Daughter trip!

This is also BEFORE we got the most AMAZING news ever!


WE'RE MOVING WHERE!?
ARE YOU SERIOUS!?

DH...

"I got the job babe! We're moving to Orlando!"

Me...



DH...

"Are you happy? Are you doing the banana dance?"

(I speak DIS to him)

"I SURE AM!"




Cut to... Today:

DH has started his new job and he is currently in Cali working. He'll be traveling 60% of the time and he is loving his new job! I told him I will be spending all of my time at WDW when he out of town!

We are still in Charlotte, NC at the moment and will be here until February. DH is finishing up his job here and also working his new job that will be out of Orlando.

Now, our Thanksgiving Trip is also our House Hunting Trip! We plan on spending our first 3 days at WDW and then we are spending the next 3 days house hunting around Orlando!

Of course, I would not pass up a chace to still enjoy Disney! I decided that we should atleast stay on Disney Propety if we couldn't go to the theme parks, so we'll be enjoying our evenings at Port Orleans-FQ!


Oh wait...I found out MVMCP will actually end up taking place during one of the nights were there!

You can't go house hunting from 7pm-12am!!

I've gotta take advantage of this! That's right...it's off to MVMCP on Nov. 27!




I've got a husband out of town and I've got the boys to keep me busy! Mickey, Chip, & Dale can be quite a handful! I call them the STOWAWAYS!

Mickey even was with DH & I on our Disneymoon! We just can't get away from him!

Mickey was also with my Mom and I during our recent trip! He had a blast and he loved getting to dress up! The 3 of us went as pirates! Arrrrrr! I'm sure you read my MNSSHP Trip Report, right?

Chip 'n Dale were a bit jealous and upset because they had to stay home. I promised them they could come with us for our next trip! They didn't get to go to MNSSHP and dress up in their Halloween costumes, so they told me they were dressing up for MVMCP! They've already got their costumes on and I can't get them to take them off! Oh well...what are ya gonna do!?

Post 2

It's going to be a Tight Fit!

All 5 of us are going to be crammed in the Volkswagen Beetle aka "The Doom Bugy!"

Luckily, Mickey, Chip, and Dale are small and won't take up too much room! Most likely, they'll want to sit on my lap for the ENTIRE trip!


It's going to be a LONG 9-hour trip with the 3 Boys aka Mickey, Chip, & Dale! It's very hard to keep Chip 'n Dale entertained! I'll make sure to bring a big bag of walnuts for the trip! Their favorite!

The Boys are having a couple friends over tonight for a Sleep Over! I'll see if I can get some pictures to post of the evening's events!

Whoo hooo!!! I can feel another GREAT trippie coming. I'm totally hooked! Looking forward to your installments is going to help the long (boring) days studying for law exams and waiting for the DFTW (we leave Jan 1) to pass faster!

Thanks for the luck on the house hunting...I know we'll need it! I can see DH stressing out already! I'm glad he's busy working because it keeps his mind busy on other things!

I bet you are so EXCITED! Luckily, you have the holidays coming too! Maybe that'll help the time fly by for you!

I know how you feel with the exams! I was trying to finish up and graduate college, while planning the wedding! I graduated May 12 and the wedding was June 9! My major wasn't anything nearly as hard as Law, but I know how stressful it can all feel!

Take a deep breath and just enjoy YOUR moment!

I'm glad you're enjoy the new Trippie! It's going to be fun! Mickey, Chip, & Dale are very excited about it! They think I'm writing a story about them!

Hi! Thanks for coming to read my TR!

Yup, we are making the move to Orlando!

My dream has always been to work at Disney, so we shall see! After we can find a place, move-in, and get settled...I'll start thinking about what I'd like to do! It's kinda all overwheming at the moment, but so EXCITING!

We don't have a specific area at the moment because we don't know any of the areas really and we haven't been there to look. This will be our first trip to look around at the areas and we hope to find a place we love! We've been speaking with our realator and we're planning on looking at Davenport and Poinciana. It's hard for me to really know what I like until I can actually see it!

I can't wait to go look!

The Boys are very excited about MVMCP! I decided to pick up a Christmas shirt for Mickey to wear to the party! Here he is showing off his Christmas shirt!

Chip 'n Dale are very happy they finally get to go on a trip to WDW with us! They haven't taken their costumes off, since they found out they got to go to MVMCP! There was a big fight over who was going to be Santa and who was going to be Rudolph, but Dale's little red nose didn't make it that hard for me to decide. Dale was really excited about being Rudolph after he found out he got to wear antlers!

I'm sure you guys will have a wonderful time. Also, can't wait to hear how you like MVMCP! My parents have taken my little sis for the last 2 years and had so much fun. You're TR from MNSSHP inspired me to book a trip for me and my sis next year...hmmmm...I'm beginning to think we might have to go for Christmas too!

Thank you! I love my Beetle! It's my dream car and the first new car I have ever had! I've wanted one, since I was in 10th grade in High School! It took 7 years, but I got it! It'll be our first long trip in the Bettle! We'll see how it goes!

Thanks for the info about Bob in the River Roost. I have never heard of him! I actually don't know very much about POFQ and have never been there. I can't wait to check it out! I love trying out somewhere new!

I love your trip report. And love the stowaways. You will really like POFQ...we will be there part of the time you are there. And this is our 3rd time staying there since this past June...it is very romantic and we love the boat to DTD...

And we live here in Florida too but about 3 hours and 15 minutes from Disney!!!

You must go for Christmas too! We were there for Christmas in 1998, but there wasn't a MVMCP then that I remember. I love everything decorated for the holidays! It really puts you in the mood and snow in FL!? It can't get any better than that! I hope you enjoy the trippie and I'll be posting a lot of pics for you!
