We've been Ghosted!

there was a thread with that title last year. It sounded so cute I thought I would save it and try it myself, but of course now I can't find it. I tried a search but nothing comes up.

Does anyone remember this? I'm going to keep bumping until I do! Thanks

My sister was just telling me they do this in her neighborhood. Somehow, I just don't see this working with my neighbors.

We were "phantomed" last night. I like this phantom. Not only did they bring M&M type candies to the girls, it brought Ghiradelli's to us!

A chocolate carrying phantom is welcome at my house anytime!

Does anyone know of a poem I can use if I want to do this in my office instead of a neighborhood? I would love to start doing it this week. TIA

Ok, here's the poem that came with ours (I've changed it for your office!):

The Phantom haunts you happily
from now through Halloween,
and was delievered by a friend
who (hopefully) was not seen.

The spirit of the office
has come to wish you well,
someone, somewhere, selected you
to receive this happy spell.

You must display the Pahntom on your door (or cube) so all can spy
that you're already haunted
by this happy little guy.



Then, add a 8 x 10 ghost picture.

They've done this in our neighborhood for the past two years and we've yet to be "ghosted" and we have the best house decor for Halloween in the whole neighborhood. We do the cemetary from the Haunted Mansion. The kids love it. I think it is a fun idea. If they don't do it again this year, I might take it upon myself to start it. Whoever started it in our neighborhood didn't include the candy, etc....only the ghost and they gave them to many houses.
