Yes they do, or at least they did.. Our first cruise we needed one, and it was supplied with no problem..

I asked for one on our first DCL in Jan '03. Our room steward provided one without a second thought.

Now that I think about it, I bet they wished all parents came right out and asked!

In the UK you can buy absorbent babies' 'play mats' - these are made by Pampers brand (from multinational Proctor & Gamble). They are a small flat absorbent paper sheet. They are great for taking with you on over night trips to slip under the sheets to prevent little accidents. It may be worth checking if they are available in the US ?

Never gave waterproof covers a second thought before reading this thread.
Wouldn't you think with all of the children on a Disney Ship that ALL beds would come with a protector on it already. Or atleast that Disney would provide them in the stateroom for people who fail to ask for them?

We have them, but I forgot the name. They're called something Sheets, is it Clean Sheets? They're purple or green plastic on the bottom and soft white on the top. they sell them in the grocery store. My friend buys them for when she's camping, the beach, etc. They're reuseable.

I think the beds already have a waterproof matress cover. My 6 year old wet the bed for the first time in his life on a Disney Cruise -- with all the excitement, I forgot to have him go to the bathroom before he fell asleep.

Anyway, he woke up wet, and when I stripped the bed, I noticed that the mattress was dry and the mattress pad seemed to have a vinyl or waterproof backing. This was on the pull-down Murphy bed in our Cat 4.

We've travelled with some waterproof pads, the width of the twin mattress and maybe 3 feet or so of the length of the bed, and just meet our stateroom host and ask him to use it for making up the bed--and, ahem, also from all the excitement, exhaustion, and yes, the drink station, Dad has included that pad in a couple of middle of the night laundry runs on deck 7, then had a freshly laundered pad for our host when he made up the bed in the morning. I figured I had to do the PJ's anyway. So remember a roll of quarters, some dryer sheets in a ziploc, and the detergent tablets as well. Found it nice to see CM's cleaning and fixing the ship even in the middle of the night like that.

Why not pull-ups? Your kids will be in an unusual situation, overtired, stressed, and excited. If you think there is a risk bed wetting, it seems like pull-ups, Huggies, etc. would be less stressfull for both you and your kids. Also less embarrassment of peed linens, pajamas, etc.

I asked for an extra set sheets to keep just in case. Usually when my daughter has an accident it's in the morning, or she sleeps right through it so in most cases we don't know till morning, however sometimes it is at night and i didn't want to have to call in the middle of the night for new sheets. Even with the pad we brought, there were still times when the sheets got wet. Matress never got wet though.

As for usuing pull ups, I know my daughter would be upset to have to go back to using them. She hasn't used them in an year, and though she doesn't have an accident every night, or even every week, I knew that in 14 nights she would have a fair share. The more tired she is the better the chance of an accident.

We've always used puppy pads (the training pads for dogs) in between sheets and mattresses whenever we aren't certain whether the mattress pad is waterproof. They make some really large ones and if you overlap a couple there's plenty of protection. They've always worked well, but you still have to deal with wet PJs and wet sheets.
