have you ever got on a bus at the end of a day at the park and stopped at a water park to pick up guest, only to see them get off at their resort leaving a wet/damp seat for the next person. are there any rules about wet bathing suits on buses or should the buses have towels to dry the seats off.

I don't think there are any rules about wet seats. Busses generally do not carry towels for the bus riders, lol. Airplanes do - hot, moist ones, for First Class - but I have never seen a bus with towels.

Honestly, if you get on a public bus and don't find vomit (or some other sort of human excretion) and it isn't raining into the bus...you have been luckier than many people who ride the bus each day.

Disney busses are much cleaner (and generally safer) than other buses, but they are still public transportation.

:) Until this thread I have never even thought about that....in all the trips we have made I have never sat in a wet seat...well except for Splash and Kali, but we aren't counting those.

Hmmm...will have to see how many I run across in May and report back. ;)

I've never run into that issue.

I've never run into that issue either. But I really can't recall being on a bus that has stopped to pick up people from a water park. I guess I'm having some bus amnesia because I'm sure it has happened. I mean it MUST have ... weird.

Even if there were a rule, it would go unenforced. Unless it's a safety issue or if it breaks an actual law, Disney personnel are not the most severe rule enforcers around (think dress codes at signature restaurants, and people pushing in front of others for fireworks or parades).

I ran into this issue yesterday. We are at WDW now, and it rained yesterday. We got on a bus leaving DTD and one of the seats litterally had a puddle of water on it. Luckily the bus was basically empty. I don't know what Disney could really do about it though.

Wouldn't the person from the water park have a towel with them so they could wipe the seat when they get up?

I know - wishful thinking. :rotfl:

The last time we rode KRR as a family, we got on just as the skies opened up and we were soaked before the ride even started.
Afterwards we stopped in a store bought the kids each a towel because they asked for them and froze on the buses back to our resort.
It never even occured to me that we must have left puddles on those seats because we were so wet.
