Wet 'n Wild vs Disney Water Parks

How does Wet 'n Wild in Orlando compare to the Disney Water Parks. Have been to both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach when children were younger stayed in children's area. Now they are 9 and 7 but not big daredevils yet. Which parks are better for that age group?

I prefer Disney because it has such great theming.

we didn't go in Typhoon Lagoon, but we drove past and it looked a bit bare and municipal for our taste! Disney does have the lovely themeing and a good range of activities for all ages and braveries (is there such a word?)

I have done both, and i am a crazy Disney fan. (too the point were i am buying a DVC) but wet & wild had a better water park then Disney, had more fun rides!

Don't get me wrong i would still go to Disney's water parts, but if i have a choice i would hit up WW in a min!
